QUEEN SUITE 1
The upper level bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, and is stocked with interesting books.

JUNIOR SUITE
The 2nd upper level bedroom has 3 single beds (bunk beds and a trundle), and is stocked with children's books and toys.

OUTDOOR DECK
Down the hall, open the door to access a large and spacious deck, standing over a beautiful large patio -- perfect for gatherings and some outdoor quality time.

LAUNDRY
Downstairs, you will have full access to a private laundry room.

BAR AREA
On the other side of the French doors, you will see a beautiful bar & TV -- wind down, catch all the games over some drinks, or enjoy hosting large groups.

BATHROOM 2
Both of the upper & lower bathrooms have spa lights, mirrors, and elegant lighting.

QUEEN SUITE 2
Down the hall, there will be another bedroom, with a queen sized bed and closet space.

MOVIE ROOM
Further down the hall is the Movie Room -- 3 futons, 2 small beds -- with a movie projector and a Foosball table. This room can comfortably sleep 2 adults or 5 kids.

BACKYARD
Walk out into this garden oasis with a beautiful patio setup to enjoy the outdoors. Soak in the sun, drink some coolers, and hang out in the hot tub with your company. Break into a sweat, and try out our new sauna (follow instructions for adding water & heating!).

We hope you love this space we uniquely designed for your enjoyment.

1. Hot tub does not heat when below 45 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Propane tank for BBQ Grill available upon request.

We had a great stay at Mayors Manor! Spacious for our group of five and quick access to the attractions, food, and shops. Due to the weather we were unable to enjoy the hot tub, however the hot tub looked relaxing. Would highly recommend this place to family/friends in the Chicago area!

Great location! Close to all the areas we wanted to visit. Outdoor area was nice, would be even better in warmer months. My daughter loved playing with the basketball (a small goal would be a nice addition!) We had hoped to use the hot tub as the temps were mid-60's on our first day, but with it being March the hot tub area had not yet been readied for the season. We loved the upper balcony. Garage parking was a huge plus! Location felt safe. Good communication from the hosts. Floors were kind of dirty, but overall the unit was clean. We would stay at this location again!

Location is great - walkable to some lovely coffee shops & fun local places to eat. It was a very easy drive to downtown (15 minutes or so!) We are now fans of this area. Before and throughout the trip the hosts were very responsive and helpful. We fully booked the house and there was plenty of room for us in the common areas and backyard. The neighborhood around also has an excellent coffee shop, bar, and food areas within walking distance. Clean property with space for two small families, upstairs and downstairs. Great location, quiet neighborhood, with a nice local coffee shop within walking distance. Great location!

5 coworkers and I cane to the area for business at the McCormick Place. Though, we knew it was too far of a walk, we preferred this location over other offerings closer to our meetings. The listing is very accurate. The property is clean with everything needed to cook and hangout. The host is very responsive and timely. It was a positive to have the private garage for parking as well. All in all a great option if coming to downtown Chicago. Only a few miles(20 min) to be in the loop. Thank You to the host for offering this location!

Chicago Bach Trip

Check in was super easy. Everybody was able to park, unpack, and find permanent parking spots. Two car garage, rest of parking is about a block away. Kitchen had everything we needed, and they provided a propane tank as one was not hooked up when we arrived. Overall quality of space lists it as being able to host up to 12. We ended up with 10. If your party has a lot of couples the space is not that optimal. Two full rooms with beds for a couple, the rest of the beds are assorted around, so if you have more that 3 sets of couples living arrangements are cramped. There are many things that could have used repair, such as toilet seats, shade canopy, projectors (which we were warned about and offered to have replaced.) Neighborhood was pleasant and quaint, and though we tried our best to be respectful, I imagine we were too loud at times late at night— we did not hear a word from our neighbors. Which I imagine there are many location where folks would have the cops called on the immediately after 10 or 11 PM, so that was nice. There were rats in the neighborhood… but it is a big city. That will happen. Overall things worked out well, but if we had a larger group, or more couples, I would have been stressed about this location and accommodation for everyone. The hosts were helpful and communicative.

Why they chose this property

Bridgeport is not just absolutely amazing, but has an incredible history. Bridgeport is where the first Italians in Chicago called home. Some of the old exclusive "members only" clubs are still around. Over the years, it's become home for many Irish, Chinese, and Mexican immigrants.

Fun Fact: Bridgeport has been the home or birthplace of 5 mayors of Chicago, representing all but 10 years between 1933 and 2011, illustrating the neighborhood's influence on Chicago politics.

A buzzing neighborhood with a diverse arts and food scene, Bridgeport is also home to the Chicago White Sox stadium just over 1 mile away. Whether you'd like to go on a nice hike in Palmisano Nature Park, try amazing Boba at Boba Plug's Teahouse, walk over to a coffee shop (try Bridgeport Coffeehouse or Jackalope Coffee), grab great Mexican food (Pancho's Pistolas) or Korean BBQ (Do Eat) or ice cream (Scoops Ice Cream), or just go down the street to a popular local tavern (Maria's) -- you'll never run out of things to do.
