Great location, large simple home, great front porch

This property worked fine for our family. We had 6 people. The home is very spacious. The dining room and front porch were our favorite spots. We weren't there long enough to enjoy the hot tub but that would have been nice. I did not see in the listing that it was really a 1 and 1/2 bath. Two showers would have met our needs better. The home has the bare necessities, no frills, could use a deep cleaning. The owner was very nice and gave us a quick tour when we arrived. She lives right next door.

Family time

A clean, comfortable home for our family get together. We enjoyed outside time (especially the jacuzzi) and strolling the neighborhood with our newest family member. The host was attentive, the 3 bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds and the Kitchen, Dining area and Living room areas were ideal for our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property when visiting Chicago!

Chicago Marathon stay and play.

Our daughter decided that she would make her first marathon run the Chicago Marathon. We looked for places to stay for our daughter, her boyfriend, our son, and us (Father/Mother). There were lots of places to stay and we were not sure where, exactly to stay. We decided on the N. Keeler house and asked our daughter's friend, who lives in Chicago, if this was a good location. She said that Irving Park is a great location, so we booked it. We arrived on Friday and got into the house. I was a bit confused on how to get in (my bad) and mistakenly tried to get into Andrea (our host's) house next door. Luckily, her husband guided us and we got in. LOL! The house is awesome. There is lots of room to sit and eat downstairs and the 3 bedrooms upstairs all were roomy and comfortable. The house has a real "Chicago" vibe to it. The back yard is very cute and has a great garden to sit out back and enjoy. It also came with a hot tub, which came in handy for our daughter after the race. There were 5 of us staying total. The house has 2 bathrooms, but know that only the upstairs has a bath/shower. Our favorite part of the house is the location. Irving Park is such a great neighborhood and is very close to some excellent restaurants and stores. We walked to them. We loved that the neighborhood was all decked out for Halloween. This is a great place to stay in Chicago. Close to O'Hare airport. Highly recommend it.
