Precious and quaint house near downtown, which gave it a cool vibe. Has a well-stocked kitchen. We got to meet the housekeepers, and they were sweet and helpful

Great place. Kinda neglected yard but the house is fantastic. Well furnished, everything you need, easily reach the host.The description doesn't tell you that it's right across from the Metra station and the train tracks. Metra trains are not bad and quit running later, but the freight trains are loud and blow their horns. Our first night the freight trains disturbed everyone's sleep and there's no masking or covering that level of noise, but there weren't any late night or too early morning freight trains the other two nights. Some people wouldn't be bothered, others might.

It was a very charming house, the host were very communicative about any problems we had and were very accommodating when we needed anything. Overall really nice stay. Only downside is parking is limited but we made it work.

We did a lot of cooking and everything we needed was there. Nicer knives would have been great, but we made do. The weather was very cold and the home was warm. The train is very loud. The beds were comfortable and the vibe is cozy.

Elgin Wedding Weekend

Caleb’s home was a fantastic place to stay for a family wedding weekend in Elgin. The home was comfortable, clean, convenient to everything that downtown Elgin has to offer and made our time in the area that much more wonderful. We’ll certainly look to stay again the next time there’s a gathering in the area.

2nd time staying here!!

Love this place! Our daughter plays basketball at a local college that is close by. We love this house, it’s a perfect set up for the team. The game room in the basement is great for college kids.
