Great Location
This is a great in town Oriental location. You can walk to everything. The house has large spaces. The dining room and bathrooms are very roomy. However, the finishes leave much to be desired. If it is a bunch of friends gathering to have fun and you don't care if you have mismatched furniture, vinyl flooring and semi par bedding, than this is for you. However, I would not recommend this for a family. The stairs are dangerous. They have multiple steps that are irregular sizes. Could be a fall hazard for older people and children and even those that consume a little alcohol while on vacay. I had an issue with the cleaning crew that never showed up to remove the li end and clean from the previous renter. I chose to use my own best g and slept on the sofa in the dining area. None of those things were important to me, as the location mattered the most. I hardly spent any time there, other than to lay my head down at the end of the night. The management company was in touch with me but really did not seem to go out of their way to get things done. Again, I was there for a wedding up the street so none of this really mattered. I just wanted to make others aware. Also no lighting in the backyard, and no raining a on the porches.
This was the perfect spot for a stay with just a short walk to enjoy the Ol Front Porch Music Festival. Super connivant!

delightful cottage
Four over fishermen stayed recently during an excellent old drum fishing trip. we have fished there over a decade. The cottage was on a quiet quaint Oriental street near the harbor. I had moderate difficulty opening lock box for key. A text via vrbo resulted in no response. The interior was clean but had a few quaint findings. There were no towels to be found along with no bar soap. Again a text was not responsive. Both items were found upon seaching cabinets and closets. The pictures show bunk beds upstairs, I failed to notice the bottom bunks were on the floor. For 70 and 80 year olds it was a challenge getting off the floor. The kitchen was well equiped and plenty of gear. The instant coffee was a minus to me. Overall it was clean, inexpensive and worked out. Again we are accustomed to hunting camp fare that is rustic and had a delightful time.
Very accommodating for our family. Amazing location downtown. Family members have recently purchased in Oriental and we look forward to staying at this home again!!
The house was perfect for our fishing trip. All had our own beds. Beds were clean and comfortable. We appreciated the coffee maker in the kitchen. But, I have to mention that the loudest siren I’ve ever heard in my life is in the back yard. There was a tropical storm approaching while we were there and the siren went off at 2 a.m. and we thought it was an evacuation alarm or something. Turns out it’s just the alarm for the fire station….that would have been nice to know about. But other than that, the place was fine and suited our needs. Communication with host was great and they let us check in early with no problems. Thanks.
The home appeared newly renovated and was very clean. It was close to everything and enjoyed walking to dinner and various shops. The neighborhood is great along with the residents.
Oriental is a quaint sailing town within reasonable driving distance of the beaches. This house has all the amenities to make a comfortable stay far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the beach but still feels like you’re at the coast.

Hi, I'm Steven Belmont, a real estate investor and entrepreneur based in the Sacramento area. I've been working in the real estate market for over a decade, and during that time, I've built a reputation for my exceptional vision and dedication to excellence. But it wasn't until I started exploring the short-term rental market that I realized the true potential of real estate. There's something truly special about providing guests with a place to stay that feels like a home away from home. I love being able to create a space that is not only beautiful but also functional, with all the amenities that guests need to feel comfortable and relaxed. Real estate is more than just a business for me. It's a passion, and I feel lucky to be able to share that passion with my guests. I look forward to continuing to provide short-term rental homes that not only meet but exceed the expectations of my guests for years to come.
