Home away from home. Relax and enjoy your stay. Great location near I-30, 190, and 635. Shopping and restaurants nearby. Steps away from Captain's Cove Marina on Lake Ray Hubbard.

There are 3 smart ROKU TVs (1 in each bedroom and in living room), fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer plus 1 covered and 1 uncovered parking space.

2 beds plus 1 air mattress and 1 1/2 bathrooms. There is NO futon. There was not an option for an air mattress. 5 guests max!!

Dallas sites, Rowlett, and Rockwall are all nearby. Lake can be seen from the property through trees on the balcony and from parking area.
The space
The condo is an end unit. One wall is shared with a very quiet couple. There are games and books plus 3 Smart ROKU TVs.

The entire condo is for you to enjoy.

The pool is not heated and seasonal. HOA controls opening.

Very clean and spacious condo near marina on Lake Ray Hubbard. Condominium complex seemed a little run down, but unit was great and offered everything we needed. Host was very accommodating. Definitely rent a pontoon and explore the expansive lake!

Perfect family getaway!!

This was the perfect spot for our quick family vacay!! Super clean and cozy!…We enjoyed playing twister and the coffee bar was the best!! MY KIDS DIDN’T WANT TO LEAVE!! Just the best!

Laura's place was great! She provided everything we needed for a wonderful stay! And the place was very clean! The pool is clean and warm and is only a short walk from the apartment. Laura was readily available to answer any questions or concerns I may have had. The location was my favorite! Among many trees so we got to sit on the porch, drink coffee, and enjoy the squirrels playing in the trees! It was very serene and cozy and Laura is just the best! Thank you again Laura!

Property is located right next to the Marina, which is important to us since it is also near our family. Overall, the stay was good, though this condo needs some simple maintenance (particularly plumbing). The outer doors need repair. Also, foam mattress on the second bed (which we also used) are never good. We did like the snacks/coffee provided, the entry process was easy. We recommend you make the house number more visible if possible - it was a bit of a guessing game coming in late at night to find it, although the jet skis parked in the carport were actually helpful from that perspective. Overall, a good, just not great stay. Being fellow VRBO owners, we would encourage the owner to consider a couple of thousand dollars worth of repairs/upgrades to bring this up to a five star property. Thanks.

Good Stay at Marina

The property was clean and as advertized except that the pool was not available. This was apparently the fault of the HOA and not the hosts. The host was very available and quick to respond.I would probably not stay there again as it is 2 stories, and the stairs were a little difficult for me.

Great place to return to the Promised Land aka Texas

We hadn't been back to Texas in several years and the condo was perfect for our family while we visited family. Great location close to several restaurants and shopping 5-15 minutes away depending on traffic. Great communication and short turnaround responses from the host when we had questions. The condo was clean overall although there were a few cobwebs in one of the closets. But overall, it was a great home away from home for a few days and we had a few family members over and they loved the place as well. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Dallas.

Quiet, hidden gem close to big city fun!

Laura was so accommodating and really made our kiddos feel welcomed as well … our stay was complete with a welcome basket of snacks! Everything was wonderful from the coffee bar, the views, board games, and the overall feeling of the neighborhood. As soon as we got in (from a 6 hour car ride with 3 kids under 7) we jetted to the waterside and had the perfect sunset walk near the lake. Wish we had more time to enjoy it. Only about a 20-30 minute drive to the heart of Dallas (Dallas World Aquarium, Medieval Times). Thanks again, Laura! You have a wonderful home!

The condo is in an older complex. Looked a bit sketchy when we first arrived near dark. But in daylight we could tell just older area. Quiet neighborhood. Pictures were accurate for the inside. We didnt cook so not sure how well kitchen was stocked. A little awkward getting into the condo carrying anything due to jet ski trailer in front of door. Had an issue with loose ladscaping bricks whick caused a twisted ankle but owner had the issue fixed quickly. Owner also responed in about 15 minutes when the door code stopped working. Would consider staying here again if ever get back to Dallas area.

My husband and I have been investing in rental properties for years. We are transitioning from traditional rentals to short term rentals. It's great interacting with people from all over the US. I'd love to meet folks from other parts of the world too.

Still figuring out what things to provide to the masses. We're flexible. If someone needs something and its available for me to pick up, We'll make every effort to provide it.

We're figuring out excursion options with friends at the Marina. Things like a boat day with Captain Kevin and cooking and hanging out in his boat slip; fishing with Mr. Jerry; or hanging out with Susan's The Perfect Spot boat slip/sports bar to watch all of the sporting events with snacks and beverages.

If there is another excursion idea or activity, I 'd love to hear all about it.

Why they chose this property

The location of this property is great. Travelling nurses like this spot. It's a great place to chill and relax. Dallas, Irving, Mesquite, Rowlett, Rockwall are just down the road. Need to get to Plano or Frisco just hop on 190 George Bush.
