This spacious home is 14 miles from Monticello, in a rural setting, yet with restaurants, groceries and shopping just 3 miles away at Zion Crossroads. Huge kitchen, deck and living spaces. Big yard. Two car garage has been set up as a game room, with ping pong table, foosball, AirHockey, and a huge TV for streaming movies, hooking up your game consoles, etc. See the pictures.
Note that this listing is for the main level of the house. There is a separate Basement Apartment that is also a vacation rental listed on vrbo as #2986048. If you rent just the house (this listing), you may see and hear other guests using the Basement Apartment. Keith is a retired business attorney, and Deborah spent many years working in the family real estate business. They have owned the Pine Grove properties since 2007 or so, but just recently converted several of these properties to vacation/short term rentals. They also own Wolftrap Farm, a resort farm and wedding venue about 20 miles away in Gordonsville, VA. They live in Virginia Beach, have three adult children and 6 grandchildren.
Why they chose this property
This property was part of a larger property we purchased in 2007. We think most properties in the Charlottesville area have lots of potential.
What makes this property unique
The home is extremely comfortable, and is quiet and peaceful. Yet it is so easy to reach Zion Crossroads, which is a great place to pick up anything you need and has many good restaurants. And the house is only 15-20 minutes from Charlottesville, and is very close to I-64.
