Barstow is located in Mariner House in the center of historic downtown Nantucket. Built in 1846 by Master Mariner and Whaling Captain William Jernegan, the building boasts Italianate architecture housing 6 individual apartments. Barstow is located on the first floor, consisting of a living room, kitchen, queen bedroom and one bathroom (shower only). It features original wooden korbels, fireplace (with wood provided), and original wooden window shutters.

The property is centrally located and with in walking distance to casual and gourmet dining, shopping, theatre, galleries, boating, landmarks, museums, public transportation and beaches.

Nantucket Anniversary Weekend

My wife and I celebrated our 38th anniversary on the island we met on 42 years ago. This was a second time in the Mariner House and the location is perfect and the rooms are spacious and well appointed. It was a perfect long weekend. DC

This property was in the perfect location! Close to the ferry, dining and shopping downtown. The apartment was very clean and equipped with everything that you could need for a weekend stay. The property manager was extremely responsive and accommodating. Tracy always answered any questions I had and was always willing to work with me! I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a nice weekend on Nantucket! We will definitely be back!
