This is a great place for friends and family to congregate. It is out of the way, so you get some privacy and yet it is not a far drive from restaurants, groceries, and activities. If you like the outdoors and would enjoy a riverside retreat, this place is a great option!

There were tiys fir the toddler, he loved bouncing the balls down the stairs, the bigger kid's loved the game room, the hot tub was used daily, we loved the kitchen overlooking the river, would be a great place when the weather is warm, as there were kayaks there.

The place was gorgeous, clean, and all kinds of things included to provide entertainment from kayaks, to a game room, hot tub, fire pit and more. Would definitely stay again!

GREAT yearly family spring break trip

We had such a great time at this house it’s very relaxing on the river and the house is very clean We had fun playing cards ,watching movies and enjoying the wildlife. The kids had a good time fishing.

Wonderful Getaway

Great location with a game room, jacuzzi, kayaks, fishing, and fire pit. The whole family had plenty to do during the entire stay. Beautiful views are a constant. I would highly recommend booking this property.

Great Place for a Big Group

We stayed in Bristol for 2 nights with two other families and had a great time. The house was spacious and clean. There was lots to do inside and outdoors! I would recommnend to anyone looking for a place to kayak, get out on the river with their family & friends!

Everything you could want

Our family of 12 stayed here and had a wonderful time! Lots to do, cozy location, plenty of dining options nearby… we can’t say enough. In addition, the manager was very responsive to any questions that came up. Lots of great memories were made and we look forward to coming back again.

absolutely wonderful!

This was one of the best properties we have stayed at. There was everything we needed there, likd pots, pans utensils, we did not need to supplement any kitchen items or any items period. Very clean and bright, great views, comfy seating and wonderful mattress. We will be staying here again!

My sisters and sister-in-laws really enjoyed our time here at this house. The view of the river with all the ducks and birds waa so neat. We were celebrating a birthday. The hot tub was great.

Perfect place to relax

Our family had a wondeful time relaxing in the hot tub, on the deck, and down by the river. Rooms and beds were comfortable and spacious. Had to bring our own awning to go over the hot tub, as it is out in the open. Not a bad thing to say about this rental, and if we do come back to the area, will definitely stay again.

Great stay on River

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this river retreat! The owners were very nice and responsive to any questions or issues we had. It was a family reunion with all ages and we all enjoyed it! The house right on the river was so relaxing. We got to do some fishing, although not the best location on the river to fish. We loved the fire pit and use of the pontoon boat and hot tub! Would definitely recommend this house!!

Family Vacation

We decided to try the Shipshewana area for our family vacation and so glad we chose this house! The owners were very quick to respond and respectful of any questions we had. The views are amazing and the activities available at the house satisfied my large group of age range of 20 months to 61 years old. Kids caught fish, kayaked, and played games. We also rented the pontoon boat which was well worth it. I would recommend staying at this property for making good family memories.
