Lovely Stay

We had a great time in the mountains and it was nice to come back here at the end of the day and relax. I did have pretty good cell signal and the internet speed was great. The cabin was clean and well stocked with the amenities listed in the description. Beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water was available. The owner was quick to respond, friendly and very helpful. My only issue was that there was no room in the outside trash bins.

Great find for family vacation.

Great little 3 level cabin. Master bedroom upstairs, 2 bedrooms downstairs (twin beds in one room and a double in the other), living room with fireplace and kitchen on middle level also has 2 full bathrooms. Porches with great views of river, mountains and a pond. We went on the coldest week of the year but had a blast. Host sent list of hiking areas and waterfalls in area, and was easy to contact if we had any questions. Close to waynesville and 45 minutes to Asheville. Lots to go see and experience and a safe nice place to return to every evening. It was to cold to use the fire pit by the river but there is one there. Definitely will keep this find on our list to stay again.

My husband and I purchased this beautiful get a way in 2022. We have enjoyed the area of WNC and enjoy hiking, fishing and going into Waynesville and the surrounding areas. We love that it is so convenient to Asheville and the airport.

Why they chose this property

Closer to Waynesville than Canton, River Roost is off of Lake Logan Road. Ten Acre Garden is a mere 5 minute drive. Town of Waynesville is only a short 13 minute drive. Enjoy restaurants such as The Scotsman, The Chef's Table, Boojums and Frog Level Brewery. The Arts are very much alive at the HART Theatre. Tubing is nearby Canton is a wonderful family activity.
