This mountain getaway sits on almost three acres providing the perfect space for a family vacation, friends retreat, or romantic getaway.
Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a bonus room, a laundry room, in-door and outdoor dining rooms, spacious front porch, and a fireplace.
The space
Rustic cabin on almost 3 acres. Has everything you need for a enjoyable stay. Dogs of 30 lbs or less. Please pay the $75.00 non-refundable pet deposit. This goes to the cleaning company for the extra cleaning that is necessary to make sure cabin clean and sanitized for the next guest. **We now have Starlink internet. fast and reliable.**

Guest have access to all areas in the house and the almost 3 acres

We prefer dogs to be 30lbs or less.. If you bring a dog 30 lbs or less please make sure you pay the pet deposit.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Trash can for house waste is located in the shed. If you have an excessive amount of trash, take to one of the transfer stations. These locations are listed in the cabin manual.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Wheels Through Time Museum and Maggie Valley Opry House are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Cataloochee Ski Area and Lake Junaluska Golf Course. While at the cabin we explore all that the area offers. Elk and bear hunting with my camera. Hiking 100's of trails that are close by. Spending hours in Cataloochee Valley watching elk and enjoying the scenery.
Why they chose this property
This was the cabin of my dream. It took many years to find just the perfect spot. Please enjoy a Moonpie and RC Cola on the front porch in memory of my late husband whom the cabin was named after.
