Blue Ridge Parkway, Pisgah Forest Waterfalls/Trails: Looking Glass, Moore's Cove, Sliding Rock, Skinny Dip, Graveyard Falls, Cradle of the Forestry, and more are very close by. Adventure awaits you in our mountain oasis! Or relax at the cabin, listening to the tranquil sounds of the fresh water going by. Very close to Waynesville and Asheville! Pets: Dogs only, fee per dog per stay, limit 2 per stay.

5 star family vacation

This cabin is incredible and the entire process from check in to check out was effortless! We are already planning a return trip and the Terrapin Lodge will be our go to mountain getaway. The fire pit and proximity to the river were a huge plus and the cabin provides a cozy haven for relaxation. We traveled with two small children and they loved everything about this property. We can’t wait to get back! Well done!

Great Cabin for a getaway

We found everything about this property and host to be well above standard. We will definitely look to stay again when the weather is warmer so we can do some hiking and fishing.
