Water & Power! Dog Friendly Cabin with Fenced Yard, Hot Tub

Welcome to the Pine Tree Cabin. This charming log cabin is located just minutes west of downtown Asheville. The cabin is close enough for guests to enjoy all that Asheville has to offer yet also provides enough space for families or friends to enjoy the peace and quiet in a private, wooded setting.

There are two covered decks with mountain views, patio furniture and string lighting. The downstairs porch is home to an amazing built-in hot tub! The decks lead out to the fully fenced back yard that is perfect for pups and kids to play, we allow up to three dogs with a small pet fee. Take a stroll up the path to the fire pit and enjoy your time under a sky full of stars, or cookout on the charcoal grill.

Indoors you'll find a beautiful living room with large vaulted ceilings. The gas wood stove will keep you toasty while hanging out on the big leather sofas. Not to worry, the house is equipped with central AC for those summer days. An open kitchen allows guests to enjoy each others company and the large flat-screen TV included with Netflix and YoutubeTV. The kitchen is well stocked with all cookware, dishes and appliances you will need including dishwasher, microwave, stove/oven and small appliances. The Main floor bedroom has a king size bed, 32" TV with Netflix, and a full bathroom. The loft bedroom holds a king size bed and seating area, perfect for your morning coffee and a good book. The lower level has a queen size bed and full bathroom. A separate area has a full size couch with a 50” flat screen TV. Only 100% cotton bed and bath linens are provided. WiFi is fast and reliable. Laundry room with washer/dryer.

Fun mountain activities like hiking, biking, rafting and definitely don't forget to take a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway!

Great cabin in a lovely location!

Loved our stay and hope to go back again. The hosts were great and made the process very easy. The cabin was perfect for our party of four with four smaller dogs. The fenced yard was a great bonus and we enjoyed our daily visit from Waylon, the neighborhood dog. Thank you again!

Great cabin

We chose this cabin for an after Christmas family trip. It had all we were looking for and we were thrilled we could take our dog as it is fully fenced and dog friendly. Short drive to Asheville and the property is very nice and worked well for our family which included seniors, middle agers a child and a boxer! Would definitely book again. Owners very responsive.

Great Stay

House was great! Had a side yard complete with small wire so our small pooch could not wonder off. Bedrooms were separated so everyone had their own space. Very clean. Nice spot! Located just minutes from The Farm venue where the wedding was held. Awesome house.

Great cabin for dog parents!

We had a great time at this cabin! Our two dogs (40 and 45 lbs pitt mixes) were happy to have a fenced in yard to run in and to be able to lounge on the couches like they do at home (thanks to the hosts providing couch covers that were easy to use). It was great to FINALLY find a place that would allow bigger dogs. ❤️ The check in and check out process were both very easy, and I appreciated how responsive the hosts were. The cabin is in a great location - not far from Waynesville or Asheville. I would definitely recommend friends to this spot!!

The property was a little older than what we expected. It could have been a little cleaner. There were someone else's clothes and cups under the bed on the main floor and trash under the bed on the bottom level. We did enjoy the fireplace and the close proximity to activities.

Great getaway with good friends and dogs

There were 2 couples and we each brought a dog. Cabin was very clean and neat, beautiful decor and mountain views in fall/winter. Nice hot tub. Outdoor area fenced for dogs was huge hit, they could roam around without leash or worries. In a community setting, but no issures with privacy, felt secluded. Very quiet. 20 minites to Asheville/Biltmore was accurate. Had every kitchen utensil/cooking/baking items needed to prepare almost anything. Regular drip coffee maker and Keurig on counter. Beds very comfortable. The only thing I think cabin could use was some extra silverware, forks, etc. Great stay, would definitely recommend!

Thanksgiving Treasure Trove

The cabin is exactly what you picture in your mind when you think about a cabin in the NC mountains, but not too far from Asheville. The location was perfect - among the trees, and the cabin itself has rough hewn timbers, a large great room with leather sofas, views from both levels of porches, and a wood-burning fireplace to die for. We hosted Thanksgiving for about 12 here, and the owners were kind enough to give me info. re: what cookware and spices were available. The hot tub was terrific, especially at night when you could gaze up at the stars. The driveway is steep, no doubt, but there is actually some level ground for playing catch. The beds were all very comfortable, and the WIFI worked consistently. I would recommend a space heater in the downstairs master suite. It's obvious that the owners love the property and enjoy renting it! We look forward to coming back.

I had a great stay here. I loved that the property had plenty of room to accommodate us as well as our pets. The fenced in area offered a safe space for our dogs to play. We really enjoyed having three covered areas outside to hang out. I specifically appreciated that the downstairs offered a separate room where I could play my PS5 without taking over the TV in the living room. The beds were also very comfortable. Another plus was that the property was very private. Overall, we had a great experience and would book again if we return to the area.

An Absolutely Perfect Place and Stay

This is a beautiful home with so much space for a big family to spread out in! Great privacy but lots of room for family activities including a downstairs den/game room and large family room and dining room. Very nice bathrooms and very cute, well-stocked kitchen. We took our small dog with us so the fenced in yard was great. We would definitely stay here again!! Great communication from the owner too.
