About this property

Almost Heaven Mountain Top Cabin

We are booking now for June! Escape to our mountaintop retreat for fun with friends and loved ones. Located in the peaceful woods and surrounded by wildlife, yet conveniently close to Asheville's attractions. Go shopping, visit Biltmore estate, restaurants, and breweries, and then relax in the great room with a 55" Spectrum cable TV, grill on the deck, or toast marshmallows by the firepit. Ideal for unforgettable getaways!

We provide coffee, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, toilet tissue, shampoo and conditioner, towels, linens, and lots of little extras you may need.

The cabin's open floor plan has plenty of space and light spread over 3 levels allowing your group to spread out and relax!

We often get asked by our guests two questions...."Who decorated your cabin and who cleans your your cabin?" We hope that tells you about the care we take to make it perfect for your stay!

Almost Heaven was almost Heaven
Great location to nearby Asheville on a mountain complete with its own trail and stream adjacent to the property. Accomodations were as described and the Hosts had everything labelled for easy access and enjoyment for the week we stayed. It is a cabin but was very comfortable and cozy. Great fun for a Spring Break!

Perfect cozy cabin
Wende has thought of everything! The cabin is stocked with extra personal touches that helped make our stay even more memorable. She was quick to respond and easy to communicate with, especially when our travel plans hit a snag. She was very accommodating! We would stay again without hesitation.

My husband and I have lived in Asheville for 20 years. We love the mountains and the fresh air and open spaces. We like hiking with our dogs and eating great Asheville food.

Why they chose this property

It's very private in the woods but close to everything. The cabin is quiet with lots of wildlife including bears, deer, bobcats, and raccoons to name a few. The cabin is in a beautiful setting with a pastoral drive passing farms and cows and spread-out neighborhoods. Hard to believe it is so close to downtown and all the activities that Asheville has to offer!

What makes this property unique

Hiking right out the front door. Lots of nature surrounding the cabin and very private and quiet. It's convenient to all things Asheville though making it a great home base while you explore.
