Please read the reviews, we work hard for those. This home is walking distance from Pisgah National Forest in Big Ivy Country. Surrounded by mountains, this valley does not disappoint. Come enjoy the beautiful views and the local horses, cows, goats, ducks and chickens. Sip coffee on the spacious front porch, paddle around the pond, or enjoy a yard game on the three spacious acres. At night, listen to the sounds of crickets and bullfrogs as you roast marshmallows by the fire. Star gazing is a must!!! The property has a small pond that is fed by a fresh water spring. Whether you feel like floating under the sun, paddling a kayak or taking a dip, come down to the dock and have a blast. If you would like to get out and about, there are many attractions just a short drive away. Zipline through the tree tops at Navitat Canopy Adventures (less than 10 miles away), enjoy a night out on the town in Downtown Asheville (19 miles away), or visit the famous Biltmore house(17 miles) in South Asheville. Great location for a BFF getaway

Such amazing hosts 👏

We had a great time staying on the farm, our hosts were absolutely incredible and went above and beyond for us. One of the best memories from our visit was sitting out ion the front porch as a thunderstorm rolled in… magical 🙌 I highly recommend staying here.

Just fell in love

Great place to relax

We had a great stay; the house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with anything we needed. We also enjoyed the front porch, back patio area, the creek and pond on the property, and visiting with the goats and chickens. Easy drive to Asheville and really enjoyed being so close to the national forest. Very peaceful and relaxing, and we would definitely return.

Wonderful weekend get away

We had a wonderful time and felt very welcomed and well cared for. It was great to be able to walk to beautiful hiking. The porch was a highlight, watching the animals, so quiet and private. We got to feed the goats (thank you for that!). It was a quick trip to Weaverville and Asheville for yummy meals. And having toys and movies stocked was a bonus! Our little girls enjoyed hitting the baseball and were introduced to Cinderella. Thank you for a fun and memorable long weekend!

Peaceful Getaway

Beautiful property

Beautiful home and property. We loved the location- Asheville is a 25 minute drive from the house. Our son loved the pond and playing outside. Jamie was awesome- she brought us fresh eggs and let us hold the baby goats! We would definitely recommend this place and hope to stay again.

This is a sweet place. We have stayed at MANY VRBO's where you can easily tell the ones that are just forgotten about verse the ones that are cared for. These nice owners had thought about everything! There were games, toys, supplies, and a stocked kitchen. We highly recommend for kids as well

Peaceful and lovely

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Property is so peaceful . We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the fireflies each evening, the kids loved the kayaks and animals. A short walk to the Pisgah trail entrance . A little drive from downtown Asheville but that didn’t bother us. Glad the rain stopped long enough for us to use the fire pit for s’mores!

Great Property Nice laid back location and Great Hosts

What more can be said. The home was nice and comfortable. Huge yard with a nice little pond with a floating dock. Very quiet area right next door to a farm and a horse ranch and Big Ivy forest right down the road. Get away from it all but still be close enough to the food and fun in Asheville and all that WNC has to offer.

Couldn't ask for a better experience!

Oh my gosh, just book this if you're considering it. SUCH a lovely time in this beautiful space, and the hosts were just awesome. Would definitely go back there with our two little girls again if we get the chance! (Yes, the goat feeding is a real thing, as are there chickens and ducks on the property, and horses and cows very nearby!)

Paradise for hiking and relaxing

The farmhouse was perfectly situated near tons of hiking and biking trails, large enough for our family + grandparents to enjoy comfortably, and complete with fresh eggs, wild blackberries (July) and goats and chickens for our 3 year old to get to know. Jami was an amazing host and really made us feel at home, we really didn't want to leave! Close enough to Weaverville for easy takeout or groceries, but far enough that you can really enjoy nature and a slower pace of life.
