We enjoyed our stay at your cottage. Very quiet, disappointed we didn't see bears but maybe next time.My only suggestion would be to bleach all your white towels, they were clean, but bleaching would be really good since they are pretty old. Carol
Great location to literally anything, host is super responsive and makes sure you're taken care of. The place itself was great in all aspects as well. Already planning our return trip.
We really enjoyed our stay. It was clean and cute just what we needed for our Asheville weekend. Great location and quiet area with lots of wildlife to watch from the porch.
Very comfortable and cozy cabin like home. Nice view great location. When I return to that area I will most likely stay there again. Watching a bear family was awesome
The house is very comfortable and clean in a quiet setting. There are a few missing amenities, like a hair dryer and dish towel, but nothing major. They have an excellent outdoor set up, perfect for watching the sunrise and enjoying the view.
Unfortunately, Western North Carolina was rocked by Hurricane Helene. We booked our cottage, several weeks prior to Helene. The owner responded to our questions and concerns quickly. The owner sent us directions to the cottage that are spot on. The cottage described was accurate. The cottage was very clean and very comfortable. My daughter and I plan to rent again for future visits to Western North Carolina. Highly recommended!

Stayed at Cottage #1 for the weekend with college aged children. Needed to be in Haw Creek for a family reunion at the Rendevous restaurant, just minutes away. Perfect location!
Saw bears and turkeys, had everything at the cottage that we needed and were minutes from downtown, the River Arts district and West Asheville.
Home was immaculate and the deck is brilliant! Will definitely try to stay again!
The house was clean and just as advertised. The only issue was the location, the surroundings made us a bit nervous. I blame myself for not doing a google maps view. Everything went fine and we had no issues.
I needed a place while my own house was under repair. This was the perfect setting. Quiet. Clean. And a few bears to add spice to the day. I imagine it would be a lovely place in the spring when the bears and their cubs are out roaming. And close enough to anything you need on Tunnel Road. The owner was readily available.
This little house was on a road that was steep and narrow , with barely enough room to turn around in front of the house, This made it impossible to go out after dark. The neighborhood was full of junker cars and an old semi trailer that could have been there for years. There were no screens on the windows. I opened the windows to get air and my bed room had about 50 beetles in it within minutes. The vacumn smelled of wet dog hair and soon so did the house. Don't go there.
Overall our stay was okay. We noticed around the house where it’s not been kept up in regards to cleaning. Walls, baseboards/moldings, wall art, light fixture/exhaust fan were dirty and coated in dust. It was apparent that the house hadn’t been deep clean in quite sometime. Bedding, bathroom, and living area would be considered basic cleanliness. We also reached out to host by phone, since we were arriving early if we could access house early. The host sent a message only and didn’t try calling us back. Luckily we had notifications on to receive the message. A phone call in the same communication manner would had been nice though since we were allowed to enter early we were appreciative. Overall we gave a 4 because it was just ok. We had a clean bed, clean spot to sit, and a somewhat clean bathroom to utilize.
This was the cutest little house! It even came with a mamma bear and cubs! This house was everything that we needed, cozy and welcoming. Also has amazing Mountaintop views!
