The ranch is a wonderful place to rest or take a walk. I met the ranch dog (Bear) he is very sweet and well mannered. There is a beautiful lake nearby we went and spent some time relaxing. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place to be.

Salt Creek cabin
Very well appointed cabin in a great location. Dark skies and quiet in a beautiful area. If staying after the summer season remember it is about an hour to town for groceries and gas. Recommend a vehicle with good ground clearance. Forded the creek that crosses the driveway with a minivan but a pick up is probably a better idea.
Great, relaxing cottage in a fabulous location. Lovely to explore the local area.

Great getaway
If you are looking for a quiet, semi-secluded getaway, this is the place to go. The cabin was perfect. Everything that one would need besides food was there. The bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed watching the birds, squirrels and chipmunks. Very quiet location.

A slice of heaven! Absolutely beautiful, quiet, extremely comfortable cabin in the Gila Forest. Breathtaking sunsets. Perfect for us to escape the Sonoran Desert heat with our two puppers. Looking forward to returning ASAP!

Lovely Peaceful Getaway
My husband and I met up at this cabin for our anniversary during a very busy work week for both of us. It was such a gift to have a moment together away from the business of daily life. We woke up to a beautiful meadow with the horses grazing and the birds singing, and enjoyed our evenings together with a homemade meal and wine on the back patio. The space was cozy, and Lauren was very welcoming. Hope to visit again.
Words cannot begin to describe this little piece of Heaven.

Salt Creek Cabin in the Gila
This is a very quiet, secluded , well stocked cabin. Even the dishes match!
We stayed for 6 days and didn't want to leave. The only suggestion would be a slow cooker.
We look forward to going back.
