We had such a great time at Victoriana…location was perfect and the house is beautiful. Just a quick walk to town & short drive to the Yuba River! Hosts were so nice and helpful.
Our stay was wonderful. This house feels like a home. Warm cozy and gives you a big hug when you walk in. Looking forward to future time here. Ben, the property manager was stupendous. Very kind and gracious.
Loved our stay. This house is really cute, well stocked and is in a great location. Walkable to downtown Nevada City. Ben was communicative and welcoming, with an awesome surprise for us.
Attractive, comfortable, and spacious home close to town. We stayed there over the thanksgiving holiday and the kitchen was well equipped to accommodate making a full thanksgiving dinner. Beautiful, spacious deck that seems like would've been wonderful to use in the warmer months. Great place to stay if you're visiting family in Nevada City and/or Grass Valley.
What an amazing home. We loved everything about our stay in this charming, historic Victorian with modern amenities. The interior was gorgeous and the grounds were even more beautiful in person. Walking distance to downtown made our stay so convenient. By far, this rental rates number 1 out of any we've stayed in so far, and we've been in some very nice places. It was such a a treat to wake up every morning and sip coffee down by the creek. 10 out of 10.
Beautiful home, intricately refurbished and restored wonderfully, decorated with balance of nostalgic and new. Conveniently located within walking distance of Broad St (Main Street for Nevada City). Super clean, all amenities available and in good working order, fabulous beds and quality linens. We definitely felt like guests in a fine Victorian home. Outdoor area appeared lovely but rain/cold kept us from exploring too much. Would love to stay again.
A beautiful property. Lovely kitchen, would be great for a group. Loved the gas hearth stoves (even though I wanted a wood burning fireplace). It made for a cozy, homey feeling. The decor had so many nice touches.
The outdoor decks and the firepit by the creek were great. Even though other properties are close, it feels private.
It was perfect for what we were looking for.
The check-in, location, and instructions were easy and the host was communicative.
The house was in tip top form and delightfully appointed, very cozy. And within easy walking distance of Nevada City. Updated kitchen, outdoor deck. We had a wonderful time walking into town everyday where the people are friendly and the food is good. The only issue was getting the projection TV to work. It’s fabulous once you figure it out. What to know? You need to have the source on HTML2 and if the Sonos sound does not work, unplug Sonos and plug back in. Wait at least a minute. Have fun!
