Great cozy lake cabin. We enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back in the summer again to explore the lake more. Fishing was fun off the dock too. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. And the hosts were great! needed. And the hosts were
We had a wonderful time. Loved the property, super cozy and perfect for our family. We really enjoyed the lake, kayaking and swimming. It was a fantastic experience all around.
We had a great time with family. The house was nice, great amenities, everything was in really nice condition and clean. We would stay again if allowed.
The home is super cute, clean and has everything we needed. Stayed for an entire week while visiting family and friends. The bunkhouse was perfect for my teens and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a few meals. Overall the most welcoming and easy house we have rented.
We stayed here during a renovation of our house and it was magical! Such a cute little cabin - we would love to come back in the summer to swim and play in the lake!
Our favorite part was feeding the ducks every day :) my kids loved how they’d all come when we put the food out. Made their day! Hosts were so accommodating and sweet. Would absolutely recommend!
We had a wonderful time at this property, and everything was just as it had been described, and even better! Plenty of firewood, for all the time we spent out at the fire pit, lots of towels in the bathroom and blankets for coziness and towels for the lake And everything we needed in the kitchen! Lovely, lovely property, and very responsive communication with the owners! Would definitely return!
What a beautiful waterfront home with a bunk house ,fire pit, kayaks and paddle boat was great to use rain and all fishing was good great dock for our boat loved the fenced in lot so dog could roam freely. All the amenities of home Thank you Cheryl and John for sharing your slice of heaven communication was great
I spent 3 days at the lake house with family. The house was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed to share family meals and time together. Everything was perfect, from sitting out on the deck watching the kids jump off in the dock to swim, boat rides, jet skiing and evening time by the camp fire making s’mores with the kids. It was truthfully a fun and relaxing time. When we weren’t outside we we able to sit in the living room playing games or watching TV.
Spent a delightful weekend at this lovely cabin. Super easy check-in after a long days drive was appreciated. The deck is a great place to spend time relaxing and enjoying the view. A good selection of water sport toys are available for your enjoyment. We spent much of our time on the deck watching wildlife ie: eagles soaring or ducks ducks paddling around. If you fish this is spot is winner ...the fish were jumping every morning and evening.
The cabin has everything you'd ever need.... a fully stocked kitchen, lots of room for guests and A/C since it can get hot here.
Located relatively close to Eatonville you have plenty of selections for eating if you don't want to cook. There also is a grocery store in town.
Definitely would recommend this rental for a short or long stay.
Property was right in the lake - perfect for any water activities. I gave 3 stars for location because the road that runs by the house was VERY busy and cars did not seem to mind the speed limit. Thankfully the house is fully gated off from the road - just had to be careful with the dog getting into an out of car.
Beyond that and the multitude of spiders hanging around - the place was perfect! Great deck - cute cabin - all the amenities that we needed to make our stay enjoyable. And hiking within a few minute drive We would stay here again. Thank you for sharing your place with us!
A lovely stay despite Mother Nature dumping a bunch of rain on us during our Autumn trip visit Mt. Rainier NP. This lakehouse is very conveniently located to services in town as well as the park, a short 40 minute drive. We stayed several nights and enjoyed the fireplace and cooking in the fully stocked kitchen. FYI bring your own coffee. The beds and living room seating were all very comfortable, and tastefully decorated. It’s very cozy and you will feel at home and not want to leave. The ducks were so beautiful to watch, hearing them quack brought so many smiles. We also appreciated the privacy and cleanliness throughout, including brand new appliances. Thank you for hosting us, Cheryl and John, we hope to visit you again.
What an absolute gem of a cabin! Great space for everyone. Plenty of sleeping options. LOVE the kitchen. Very well stocked, kitchen, linens, even fire pit and water play gear. Very easy to find and close to grocery or takeout. Only things I would suggest: beds are almost all VERY firm. If you are used to softer, bring a foam topper or such. Also, is on a very busy road. Not an irritating amount of traffic but certainly present. Also if you have a small dog( mine is 15lbs) the yard isn’t fully contained. She wiggled her way out near the bunkhouse opening and gave us a little scare on the road. Other than those couple of work arounds, this property is sooooo worth the stay. Really the most peaceful and quiet lake I’ve ever visited. Fantastic!
This cabin is better than a 5 Star Hotel. The cabin, (perhaps more appropriately referred to as a house!), deck, dock and grounds are immaculately clean, tidy, and well maintained. The cabin interior appointments are lovely, i.e., recent upgrades to flooring, cabinets, kitchen and bathroom. Lots of kitchen gadgets, coffee maker options, pans, glassware cooking and your beverages. The sleeping accommodations are very comfortable with nice beds and a lot of storage for unpacking your luggage. Plenty of towels for drying off after swimming, kayaking, etc. The washer and dryer are a luxury. The outdoor fire pit only required lighting with a match as it was preloaded with kindling and dry firewood. There is sufficient parking for a boat trailer and SUV . This is a wonderful getaway for a long weekend or extended vacation. The view of Lake Ohop is stunningly beautiful. Eagle enthusiasts will be thrilled with the site of many eagles soaring over Lake Ohop and perched in trees along the lake. Many water-fowl species, such as, geese, ducks, red-wing blackbirds, too many to name, are a wonderful site as well as listening to their songs. This location is conveniently located a short distance from the town of Eatonville for restocking groceries or enjoying a meal out. Mill House Cider Company and Bruno’s Family Restaurants are a couple of our favorites. Highly recommend this VRBO and its location! Hosts are caring and attentive!
We loved the cabin; it was well stocked and the host was very responsive. Our animals and us enjoyed a relaxing week. The lake is peaceful and very relaxing. Would absolutely recommend this cabin for a trip. We would definitely stay again!
We loved our little stay at this Ohio lake cabin! The location was also great. The weather didn’t work out the best during our stay but we still enjoyed our stay 😊
We had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Lakefront Cabin! My husband and toddler daughter took advantage of all the cabin had to offer: fishing on the dock, a quick outing by kayak, feeding the ducks, grilling our dinners, and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. The cabin was a quick drive into the small, cute town of Eatonville and about 40 mins away from Mt. Rainier. The cabin was clean and comfortable.
Would definitely recommend!
The price was good, the views were great, and the cabin was cozy and well suited even for our extended stay! The hosts were hospitable and prompt with their communication. I would definitely stay here again, if the opportunity presented itself!
We had so much family fun at this adorable cabin right on the lake! We swam, we kayaked, we paddle boarded, we roasted dinner on the fire pit, we played games, we enjoyed it ALL. The kids loved the water trampoline and must have jumped off the dock a million times. The owners are kind and wonderful at communication. The cabin was cozy and well stocked. The adjoining cabin was so perfect for the kids. We came home with such great memories! Can’t wait to go back :) Thank you so much!!

Why they chose this property
A perfect getaway for family get-togethers or just a couple. This property is newly renovated with new flooring, windows, siding, deck, kitchen, bath--everything is new! It's very cute and easy to use with a newer dock, fencing.
What makes this property unique
Best fishing lake in the State! Our four kayaks are great in the evening. Fast boating times on the lake are 11am-3:30pm. After that, watch the boats and kayaks parade by! Make sure you wave!
