The owners were the kindest, sweetest, and most accommodating hosts. The cottage was situated in one of the most scenic areas along the Indian River. There are plenty of things to do in nearby Melbourne. I had an amazing relaxing and restful stay. 10 out of 10 stars.

A great stay

This is such a relaxing stay! The cabin is located on the river surrounded by nature and quiet sounds. The view of space launches is also great. Everything one needs is available, and hosts are the best.

Peaceful river stay

This is our second stay at the cottage on the river. We love coming here and the beauty and peaceful views. The cottage is very comfortable and cozy. It is a great location and Marcy and Hugh are lovely hosts. I highly recommend the cottage; and I know we will be back.

The small cottage in the hosts’ back yard is an awesome setting right on the Indian River. It’s very relaxing to sit in the screen porch or deck and watch the River and the sailboats and birds. Also there’s a great view of rocket launches from Cape Canaveral some 30 miles away.

Relaxing getaway

This little cabin has excellent views of the Indian River Lagoon. We saw dolphins and beautiful sunrises on the back deck. Nice location with everything you need. The hosts were friendly and easy to talk to. We can't wait to go back.

Perfect Spot

This was a very peaceful spot. We really enjoyed watching all the wildlife, pelicans, cranes, dolphins, etc. Being so close to the water was a plus, we even did a little fishing and caught a few things. The sunrises and sunset were perfect to watch also. We will be back for sure.

And you're right - for nature folks, this is the place to be. resident hawk, who's been gone for the winter [he went further south??] has returned and it's amazing to watch him fish and eat his dinner in our oak tree.
