The property and hosts exceeded our expectations. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed and more. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought and care into the property and we had an amazing stay relaxing, swimming and visiting. Would highly recommend to families with children or adults just looking to have fun and get away. We’d love to return in the future.
Great house, fully equipped kitchen, convenient checkin/checkout process, comfortable beds. Hot tub was nice. Would probably be even better in summer on the lake. A but far from town but easy to get to.
We enjoyed our time at this chalet but I need to provide some feedback. Pros:-comfortable beds-setting was very pretty and quiet-easy check in-enjoyed the hot tub-reasonably close to Saint-Sauveur -easy to get toCons:-chalet needs repairs - cracked tiles-odd temperature differential throughout the chalet (kitchen was freezing)-kitchen was missing basics like oil and salt-many odd electrical switches that did not work-fireplace had wood logs for 1 fire but there was hardly any kindling so we could not get the large logs to burn and our 1 fire lasted 20min even though we were there for 3 nights-not worth the rental price-no dryer sheets for the dryer-no robes for the hot tub-bath towels were very small and worn out-deck and steps to hot tub were not maintained and very slippery

Thank you, Christy, for your review and for highlighting the aspects you enjoyed, such as the comfort of the beds, the peaceful setting, and the hot tub, we’re glad these contributed positively to your stay.
We also appreciate your feedback and would like to clarify a few points for future guests. Our team is always available during a stay to assist with any concerns, and we did not receive any communication from you at the time. We would have been more than happy to promptly address items such as temperature adjustments, fireplace use, or any missing essentials.
Regarding the fireplace, kindling and additional wood are available in the outdoor shed. As for winter conditions, outdoor areas such as decks and stairs can occasionally become slippery due to weather; for this reason, we provide sand on-site for guests to use as needed.
Following your departure, the property was inspected and no maintenance or safety issues were identified. That said, we take all feedback seriously and will review your comments with our team to ensure we continue improving the guest experience.
Thank you again for your stay, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.
The chalet was well maintained, clean and attractive, with a well stocked kitchen that had every cooking tool I could want. Exactly as represented in the ad, and communication was great. Located on a quiet gravel road. Beautiful view of the quiet lake, even when sitting inside on a rainy day. Looks like a perfect lake for a casual paddle. There is a closet with board games for cooler days. One caution — both the interior and exterior stairs could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues.
If you would like to get away from work/life stresses and relax in the outdoors, this chalet is perfect. You have lovely views of the lake and forest/foliage and some rock-face from the dining room table, sitting area, the large deck, and the lawn and dock area. The chalet was very clean and well-equipped for the needs of my family of four (albeit up to eight persons could sleep and dine there). The chalet is about a 15-minute drive from the restaurants/cafes in both St. Adolphe D'Howard and Morin Heights, all of which were good. (My only warning is if a guest has mobility issues, you do need to climb a few stairs to travel between the kitchen/bedrooms and living area/deck and to use the en suite bathroom in the master bedroom.) Happy travels!
This was a nice place, very clean and quiet
Easy to get to and close to everything

Merci!
Just went for a few days to get away from the city. Best thing we were able to bring our dog with us. Overall the property was very good and such a quiet area. Great relaxing experience.
The cottage is well provisioned, clean and the view is beautiful. We enjoyed cross country skiing and snowshoeing on the frozen lake, the hot tub and cozy fireplace. Property manager Nathalie is very organized .

Pleasant stay but property needs some tlc and is overpriced.
This is a nice lakeside chalet in a calm area with not too much vehicular traffic. It's about a 13 min drive to Morin Heights where you can get your groceries at a well stocked IGA and the SAQ is just on the other side of the street. The drive to Saint Sauveur will take a little longer, about 22 min, where you have the outlets for shopping, various restaurants and lots of activities. Speaking as someone who rents chalets often during the year, I have to say I was a little disappointed with this particular chalet for three main reasons.
The first is cleanliness. There are some things that should be cleaned at least once a month that are probably not done in a regular cleaning by the cleaning crew such as kitchen drawers, cupboards and closets. We thought about using the outdoor hot tub but after peeking under the cover, we saw that the bottom of the tub hadn't been vacuumed in a while and therefore lost all interest. Also while I was there, to no fault of the owner, we had a power outage for about 7 hours which required us to start up the fireplace for some heat. To my surprise, I had to remove 2 garbage bags full of ash before I could even begin to place my wood. Also, well I'm on the subject, there was no starter wood nor newspaper to start the fire with and the wood supplied by the owner was all wet so I actually had to go buy dry firewood and starter wood at the IGA which conveniently had free old newspapers right next to their wood.
The second is the overall condition of the place. There were doors that didn't close well, cracks here and there, areas that required paint and a broken tile in the kitchen that squeaked every time you walked over it.
This brings me to my last point which is the price. If you're clients will be paying hundreds of dollars per night once all is said and done with the taxes and cleaning fees included, in my humble opinion, the property should be in tip top shape. We kind of got the feeling that the pictures oversold the place and so disappointment was inevitable for the above-mentioned reasons.
On the bright side, Nathalie was super responsive and helpful. She even let us check out a little later later to compensate us for our troubles during the power outage.
Gorgeous place and view with all amenities except washer n dryer. If planning more than a few days stay might want to bring extras. Mattresses should be upgraded as sleep is essential part of resting. Full kitchen and cosy living room. Love the hot tub with the view on the lake. Owner responds very quickly great communication.
We stayed in Nathalie's home for 3 weeks and had an amazing time. The setting is beautiful and the house had everything we needed. Would highly recommend.
This property was warm and welcoming. It was very clean and very well equipped. Our favorite part was waking early morning to see the steam rise from the lake and to hear the Loons calling out.
