Niksen Cabins for 2 people on the lake

Niksen, Dutch concept, means the benefits of doing nothing without guilt. This is what awaits you in this mini chalet for 2, fully equipped in hotel concept. Relax by the lake 1 hour from Montreal. Take advantage of summer/winter outdoor activities (pedal boats, kayaks, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, skiing) to recharge your batteries. Your dog is welcome. The chalet is fully equipped for the comfort of its guests. We rely on guests to treat the premises with utmost care.
The chalet is designed for 2 people and a maximum of 2 dogs.
Niksen Cabins wishes to limit the impact on the environment one night at a time. Composting and recycling are easily accessible to guests in order to reduce the impact of the stay.
We have always been keen to favor local businesses when possible and to reduce the environmental impact of stays. The quality products offered in bulk come mostly from local suppliers with eco-responsible philosophy :
- Oneka: gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion
- Myni: cleaning products
- Unscented: clothes and dishwashing detergent

Quality bedding with extra blankets and choice of pillows
6 bath towels 2 sizes and 2 towels for the outside

A 15-50 type 40 amp electrical outlet is available for your electric car. You must use your mobile terminal (minimum 25-foot wire required).
Space for teleworking with unlimited internet (Cogeco Fibre)
We welcome your dog:
- A cushion and blanket for Pooshi dog, Quebec company
- bowls
- towels to wipe the paws
- protective cover for furniture
- barrier to leave the dog on the large gallery
- life jacket (2 sizes 8-18 lbs and 50-90 lbs)
- Unfenced land accessible to your dog who must respect the limits of the land.
For relaxation:
- yoga mats, books and CDs available to guests

A hot tube spa will be installed by fall 2023.

A security deposit of $500 is required for each stay.
