Peaceful retreat

This property is clean, attractive and well appointed. The kitchen is roomy and easy to use. We enjoyed the outdoor areas and the large living room was comfortable for our program needs.

Our group of 12 included 4 generations for a girls' weekend celebrating my mother's 98th birthday. The bed layout worked great for our group. The living space and kitchen area space was good also. There was a Keurig, but not a regular drip coffeemaker. We knew that beforehand and brought one with us. The host was very nice to work with, responding to inquiries quickly. With my mother being elderly, we are more conscious of handicap accessibility. Grab bars in the bathrooms would have been a nice addition, but we managed. This was not presented as handicap access, so we had not expected those kinds of accommodations. It in no way interfered with us having a very enjoyable weekend. If all goes well, we would definitely consider a do-over here for her 99th.

The house is beautiful. It was so homey. So comfortable. Loved the fire pit. Definitely loved being able to fish off the dock. We caught some awesome catfish. We just catch and release. Everything was just right.

We came to Milledgeville for my daughter’s wedding at the Dogwood Barn and it was amazing. The house worked perfect for some of the bridesmaids, my daughters and I to stay at. Thanks for allowing us to rent your place.

Funtime at the Lake with friends

Great time at a beautiful lake. Beautiful dock where we hung out all day. Great boating and fishing! Large kitchen with Lots of dining space for large group. Cozy fire pit to gather and roast marshmallows.

PERFECT Stay for our families

This was perfect for our stay! Our daughter graduated from UGA and we needed a place to stay for the weekend for our family. Yes it's a 75 minute drive to Athens from Milidgeville but well worth it. The kids loved catching fish from the dock and we loved the location. Such a beautiful area! If you're looking for a rental for a UGA event this one is a great one and it beats paying 800 a night for a Best Western in Athens. . Thanks again for allowing us to enjoy your home while our daughter finished up a very important chapter in her life

Weekend Fishing Trip

Weekend getaway for fathers and sons. We spent the entire time on the dock fishing and took advantage of the kayaks. Having a partially covered dock was great for the changing weather and the power at the dock allowed us to keep up with the football games. We would highly recommend this property and consider returning.

Great night away with friends

Going to GCSU orientation the next day so stayed overnight. Nice clean place with a beautiful lake! A wonderful stay. The only thing that was a little inconvenient was there were no towels nor a small sample size of toiletries. Other than that it was a perfect stay!

This house is in a very pretty setting on the lake. Plenty of room. Comfortable beds. And lots of them. Tidy. We didn’t cook but the kitchen seemed well-appointed. Beware there is a mandatory $1500 damage deposit or purchase of $60 damage insurance policy

Family Trip

Overall the house was very nice. It was large enough for two families. The bathrooms were a little dated but overall nice. Master bathroom toilet and shower area is tight but works. My only suggestion is to replace the hall bathroom toilet with a taller one for older folks with mobility issues. This house and location is awesome, especially for large families. We will definitely book again.

Ultimate Lakeside Getaway

When Thanksgiving break wasn’t long enough for my son to travel home easily, this lakeside retreat offered all the comforts of home without hectic holiday air travel. The bedroom areas provided plenty of cozy and comfortable spaces for everyone to enjoy some down time and rest. The well-equipped kitchen made preparing a holiday meal easy and the large table provided room for everyone. From gathering at the fire pit, to morning coffee on the dock, binge watching cooking shows in the family room, and gaming in the bedroom, our entire family found exactly what they needed to enjoy our time at Lake Sinclair!

Wedding Event April 1 in Gray GA

We had a destination Wedding Event at family property in Gray GA. We wanted a home that would accommodate upwards of 10 visiting family and friends from different parts of the country. Everything went well and all enjoyed their visit. It was nice to be able to have all our family together for this wedding event...weather was good, though not warm enough to enjoy water sports. But very beautiful place.

Great location!

This property has great views and a great dock and firepit. The dock did not have any gross bugs or old spiderwebs to walk through which is a treat. The house and bedding is very comfortable and I did not feel the need to clean before using the linens or bedding which I have had to do before. The only thing that could have been better was the cleanliness of the kitchen and everything in the drawers, cabinets. Did feel the need to wash before using. Overall, I loved it and I will definitely book again when needed.
