You found your ideal vacation property in the best location! 180 degree unobstructed Ocean and Whitewater Views from everywhere in this amazing 3000 sq ft Villa! 1/2 block to the beach where Baywatch was filmed and the world famous Getty Villa. It is closer to all the major Tourist Attractions than any other vacation rental (see a list below). The Villa has an ideal floor plan with a huge Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, 2 Bedrooms and half bath on one level and the other level with Master Bed and Bathroom, 3 more Bedrooms, the 2nd full Bathroom and Laundry Area with Washer/ Dryer. These rooms have Panoramic Ocean Views and new Designer Furniture. There are huge Ocean View Balconies on each level, as well as Panoramic Windows, Sliding Glass Doors and huge closets. There is direct access from a 2 car Private Garage to the Villa, which is situated on a private drive Cul de Sac. An Oasis of Beauty and Peace with all the convenience of being close to town.

The Villa is closer to all the major Tourist Attractions than any other vacation rental: just 1/2 block from our Villa to the beautiful, sandy beach, where Bay Watch was filmed and to the famous Getty Villa Museum, Gardens and Cafe. Just 200 ft from us along the beach to Maestro's Restaurant, where you can eat right on the water. Less than 1 mile from us to VONS grocery center, Starbucks, Gladstone's Restaurant, Spectrum Gym and Health Club. Just over 1 mile from our Villa to a beautiful Lake and Botanical Garden (open to the public and free of charge) as well as to the beginning of a Bike path that runs along the beach for a distance of 22 miles. Just 3 miles from our Villa to Malibu SCUBA and another 2 miles to the famous Malibu Pier and Restaurant, the fancy shops and movie theaters of Malibu, the famous Malibu Colony with the many mansions of celebrities and the Malibu Lagoon with great wildlife viewing. Pepperdine University, Malibu Country Club Golf Course as well as Malibu Paragliding and Paramotor are near there.

In the other direction along the beach, it is also just 5 miles from our Villa to the famous Santa Monica Pier and Ferris Wheel, Santa Monica Promenade Shopping, Restaurants and Movie Theaters, Broad Stage Theater and Concert Hall, Civic Auditorium. Only 1 1/2 miles further is the Venice Boardwalk and Muscle Beach, well known for it's artists and athletes alike. Another couple of miles and you're at Marina Del Rey Yacht Harbor, shops and restaurants, where you find boat charter, deep sea fishing, jet ski rental, SCUBA, whale watching and the ferry to Catalina Island.

Going inland from our Villa, it is only 12 miles to UCLA with many concerts and events and Westwood Village with lots of shops and restaurants. Only a little further are Century City and Beverly Hills with many fine shops and restaurants, like on the famous Rodeo Dr. Now you are almost in the Museum District, with LACMA and MOCA, world famous art museums. A short drive further East is downtown with the Music Center and IRIS. You are now almost in Hollywood with big attractions like the walk of fame, Grauman's Chinese Theater, the Hollywood sign, Griffith Park and Observatory and the LA Zoo. Universal Studios Tour is near there and only a total of 21 miles from our Villa. Other big theme parks are Disneyland (45 miles from our Villa) and Magic Mountain (49 miles from our Villa), still amazingly close to our quiet Villa on the beach and closer than any other vacation rental in Malibu.

Malibu house

Location was great! Property managers were also very good to work with. The house was not very clean - the floors especially - but the whole experience worked out very well for our family. We cooked breakfast each day in the house which worked well. We would stay there again.

the Oceanview and location which is beautifull fits exatly to what is shown at the online presentation. the condition of the equipment such as furniture, bathroom by far not. Talking to the manager he agreed thats an old house which needs a final refurbishment to fit to the pics shown online. I would not book it again at this pricepoint. Its possible to share pics

We stay in vacation rentals frequently, so we may have a more critical eye than some. We chose the house because it had the number of beds we needed and because of its proximity to LA. Though it satisfied those needs, the house was seriously outdated--it did not seem to have been updated since it was built in the 70s or early 80s. Kitchen appliances were really ancient. Good points were the nice view of the ocean and decks on which to enjoy it.

e good stuff: The view was stunning. The house was very spacious, location great! Property manager, Russell, great. responsive to any questions or concerns. repairs-leak under the kitchen sink. Luckily no one slipped and fell on the wet floors. Also, faulty shower head that had to be replaced . Owner should at least make health and safety repairs. 1- replace all furniture. I am the second or third reviewer to report that a chair collapsed under a guest! Property manager Russell came to the rescue and brought some different chairs after the chair collapsed but also the cushions on the couch are worn out! NO AIR CONDITIONER in this house. Today it was almost 90° ! 3- the water pressure is really low in the shower 4- The decks, I believe, need to be completely replaced. It looks like they have painted over water rot in several places. Also, some of the boards are uneven and could cause a fall. This was a concern for our 83 and 88 year old relatives 5- Floors were very dirty and I suggest steam cleaning the floors. 6- The kitchen is very tiny for a house the size especially when it’s a rental and you claim 12 people can stay here. I suggest they remodel and combine the kitchen, and bedroom next to it and also convert the half bath on top floor to a full bath. Two bathrooms is not enough for 12 people and we only had eight people! The kitchen needs a full size oven, a larger refrigerator and prep area. The top floor needs a full bathroom No ice trays in refrigerator Last but not least, my brother was playing inside of the garage with his grandchildren ages 5 and 8. It may have been around 4pm in the afternoon. A woman who identified herself as the owner asked to speak with me but I was in the shower. My adult daughter came to the door and asked how could she help her and the “owner” said she was worried about us making too much noise and wanted to know how many people were staying with us. ????? I found this to be unprofessional. We were all offended. I was honest and thorough in the purpose of our visit and how the house would be used in my application. The owner was very unprofessional by showing up unannounced when she had my direct phone/text. Our elderly aunts were quite alarmed that she might call the police when we were not even playing music! I texted the owner and asked why she stopped by unannounced but did not receive an answer. I cannot recommend this property at this time

Gorgeous View

The house itself is old and tired. The kitchen is extremely small if you actually have 12 guests to accommodate the 6 bedrooms, which we did. the electric stove, and old disgusting appliances like toaster and dishwasher made it challenging to prepare meals and clean up as we are a family that enjoys cooking. There were no kitchen towels, cutting boards, and the knives were so dull we could not even cut an union. The kitchen table and chairs were wobbly we all had to be very careful getting up from sitting. The beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The outlets were weirdly connected. If a switch was off you could not charge your phone. We couldn’t figure that one out. We just had to try every outlet in the house before we found one that worked. The view and location was the best thing about the house.

Good house

Overall the house was good. It was large and spacious enough to fit 12 people comfortably. Most of the rooms had ocean views which was a plus and the two level balconies were also nice. Location was great as it was super close to Santa Monica and popular beaches in Malibu. There were some cosmetic work that can be done to the house but it wasn't bad to the point where it ruined our stay.

Amazing view, great and safe location.

The views are really as beautiful as the pictures suggest. Nice, large size rooms. The location was great - felt like a safe neighborhood. PCH traffic is a little loud but not bad. The furniture is different from the photos but it was functional and comfortable. They could use some new pots and pans and the oven is ancient - but we still prepared food there a lot and definitely enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful views and comfortable home!

This was a wonderful spot for my executive team to meet and stay! Beach is a 15min walk down the hill, views of the ocean as you wake up to the morning sun were gorgeous, plenty of bedrooms for myself and my colleagues to stay in and the kitchen had all the utensils (cups, pans and cookware) we needed to be fed and maximize the space!

Great location but innacurate photos, changed property info post complaint

This house is in an awesome area, but there is some very inaccurate info listed that impacted our group. We had a group of 12. The listing originally said sleeps 14, with 2 queen beds in the room upstairs and 7 beds total, and we thought should have been good to go. However, when we arrived, this was not the case. There were 6 beds total and different couches and arrangements from what was listed in the photos. When we asked about it, and requested an air mattress, they changed the house listing to sleeps 12, WHILE WE WERE IN THE HOUSE. This resulted in us needing to have one friend stay on the couch and one on the tiny air mattress. When we tried to see if there were any solutions, the property manager Angelica yelled at us on the phone for worrying about this "because it is Malibu and she is a doctor" (so imprecision and lying is fine?? Interesting). Additionally, the furniture pictured in the photo isn't what is in the house. There is no nice table setting, and the chairs are so old, that we broke 2 by just sitting normally on them. We can tell we weren't the first to do this because they are haphazardly patched up. The refrigerator feels like it is going to fall out of the wall and overall the house just felt fragile. Once again- this wouldn't be as much of an issue if the photos were accurate and we got what we paid for. However, doctored photos for the price we paid is absolutely not okay. Overall, bad customer service and inaccurate photos, and I would recommend staying at another property in the area if possible.

The showers were ant infested. There was a chair that was previously broken that was assembled loosely. One guy sat down and the chair crashed to the floor. The entire sewer system backed up and has crap coming up into the showers. One of the mattresses had a blood stain. Terrible communication from the property owner.

Very dirty

The property is very run down and did not appear as advertised. Frankly, it was filthy. The floors made all of our feet black. The cupboards and pans were also very dirty. There was empty soap bottles in the bathrooms. The location was fantastic.

Superb Location, Great for Large Groups

We travelled with a group of friends and relatives to attend a wedding in Malibu. Ten of us stayed in the house for a week. The rental was well organised and the owners agents were friendly and cooperative. The house is well appointed with good wifi, robust kitchenware and all the appliances travellers might need. There is plenty of comfortable sleeping space for up to 12 although one 'bedroom' is really a living area converted and does not have a great deal of privacy. There are effectively two bathrooms and three toilets but that proved more than adequate. Bottom line: it worked well, suited our needs, was well organised and comparatively well priced. Recommended.

Location excellent. Russell extremely helpful. Layout great. Given high quality of property, surprising that owners haven't done following, much-needed upgrades: Kitchen needs new microwave, new dishwasher, new cook top, more utensils. Showers also need upgrading. Immediacy of frolicking dolphins and cruising pelicans render these quibbles rather insignificant

Beautiful View & Great Location!

As soon we arrived, I was blown away. The view from both balconies is spectacular and the house is beautiful. It was more than I was expecting. The accommodations are great for a big group. Outstanding

We were a family of 12 and this villa was perfect for our stay. It consists of 1 master bedroom with on suite bathroom, 4 bedrooms sharing one full bathroom with a shower and another half bathroom; moreover, there was an open space that had 2 large beds. All bedrooms do have complete view of the ocean which is spectacular. There are two terraces that overlooks the ocean, one on each floor; both terraces wrap the front side of the home overlooking the ocean. To be honest, I would pay the rates only for this view. The home has a washing machine, dryer, living room with a cable plasma TV, complete kitchen, towels. The only missing item is an iron, but luckily we had our own. The home had two main big dinning rooms one in the terrace where we had our breakfast and enjoyed the view and the other was inside the home which acccommodated all members. The home was very clean and seemed brand new. This villa is steps away from the beach, approx 10 min to Santa monica and 15-20 min to beverlyhills/hollywood. The villa maintains two private garages, and the streets has many other spots. The villa is in a very quite and safe neighborhood. The reality of the home is better than the posted home pics which is something that astonished all everyone. Go for it, its worth it... Last but not least, I would like to thank Angelica for all her advice and efforts during our stay....she was outstanding and we all owe her. Finally, will surely come back again... Cheers, Z
