Welcome to a charming Dome cabin! Relax, unwind and enjoy the soft echoes of the sea waves among the cool breeze. Fish right off your private dock or swing under the cabin while watching the passing boats, barges and occasional dolphins. Up on the deck, enjoy the endless horizon of the gulf. You will also want to experience both beautiful sunrise and sunset while dining at picnic table on deck. You'll feel at home away from home with this cabin.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
All used towels and kitchen towels must be placed in a hamper by the bathroom.
Dock light is 1000 watts. Please turn off/unplug after each used.
All trash from main floor must be bought down to the trash barrel downstairs.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please utilize ashtrays provided outdoors. Violation of no smoking and pet rules will be subjected to $150 extra charge for cleaning.
This property is private including of those surrounding areas. Using the neighboring private fishing facilities is trespassing and prohibited.
No parking allowed on neighbors' driveway or carport. No loud music after 9 p.m.

It was exactly what we wanted. A place to stay on the water and to be able to fish whenever we wanted too. Bonus sound was that at night you could also hear the ocean in the background.

Holiday Fishing Trip

Nice property in a great location on Intercoastal Waterway for a weeklong family trip to get a little fishing in. House was inviting with comfy couches and a well stocked kitchen.

Gulf Coast 3 Day Retreat

Nice property, great location, bring plenty of food and drink. Limited shopping and restaurants in this area but great if you want to get away from the crowds! Fishing the intracoastal waterway from the dock in the backyard was very enjoyable. House was well laid out and furnished with essentials (i.e. coffee, tea, ice, water)

We loved Dome by the Sea

Our family has been to Sargent many times and always noticed the Dome house when launching our boat in the inter coastal. When we saw it was on VRBO awe decided that we wanted to check it out for Spring Break. Mina the host was very quick to get back with us with any answers to questions we had. The location was perfect and the fishing off the dock was awesome! My husband caught a 35” black drum off the dock. Of course we had to throw it back so future generations can catch its offspring 🥰. It was just the 2 of us this visit but we know our grandkids would have loved the loft! The king size bed downstairs was very comfortable and the sheets were very soft too. We had some nasty weather and stayed some during our stay - there were some great dvds that we enjoyed watching. Also, a major plus for a cool night there was hot cocoa! Loved that :). Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Dome by the Sea!

Our host was in touch upon making the reservation and was immediately available with answers to any question. Check in was easy with the keys in a lock box on the door. The place was very comfortable, clean and very well supplied. We fished most of the time and the light, cleaning table and hose were nice accommodations. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need. There are many games and movies if you are so inclined. We had no issues during our stay. We would recommend the Dome to anyone coming to Sargent.

LOVED IT

We had the most wonderful stay. We travel alot and have stayed in many VRBO's but this one really stood out. First of all they are very generous with coffee and supplies. We also had everything we needed to cook a meal. This was a wonderful choice and we will be back. We loved sitting out on the deck at night and watching the birds, we also loved the star-gazing and they provide a telescope. One day we even saw the dolphins playing very close to our pier. We miss the dome house by the sea already!

Our second stay

We enjoyed our first stay so much we returned for a second trip to this charmingly unique house. We enjoyed fishing right from the backyard, and the beach is just a few minutes away. The house has everything you need to make you feel at home, and the hosts are always quick to respond to any questions.

Great Getaway

We had a nice relaxing 8 night stay. Very clean property with everything you need included. Quiet community that is still recovering from hurricane Beryl. Many businesses were not open. We did have a good experience at the gas station, dollar store, Flamingo liquor store & Tipps Bait camp. We would stay here again.
