The cleaning station that was shown in the picture was lying on the ground...totally not able to use. We tried to get ahold of our property manager. Waited 3 days to hear from her. In her text she told us where the lock number was, but didn't tell us where it was located. We ask her if the Crab Trap Restaurant had survived the hurricane. She replied the crab traps were located under the house. We never found how to turn on the lights under the house.
Weekend trip to relax and fish. Fishing was great, fish were biting all weekend. Rain off and on on Saturday, but that did not stop us from enjoying out time. Property was great, clean and a nice place to stay. We would definitely stay here again.
We booked this trip for my husband's 50th birthday. The house was absolutely perfect and the fishing did not disappoint!!! Wed love to stay there again!
Overall the stay here was great. The house was clean and cozy. We loved sitting on the deck upstairs overlooking the water and watching the sunrise. The fishing was AMAZING! Having a private pier is awesome. We caught so many different fish with shrimp bait: black drum, croaker, silver perch, spot, one catfish and several crabs. Everyone had a fun time fishing. The kids also enjoyed watching the big ships go by. We will definitely book here again.
This home is an absolute dream to stay in, we fished and caught lots of fish and enjoyed the view daily from all points of the house. The inside has everything you need to be able to rest and relax after cooking up your catch from the day. I give this location all the stars, we will be back, a lot.
We have been to this property a few times and it never disappoints. The property is in a great location and always clean. Plenty of fish to catch and great night lights on the pier.
Our family included our children and grandchildren. My 11 year old grandson never left the pier other than to eat and sleep, and go to the bait shop for more live bait!!! Great fishing and very nice deck to enjoy as well. The host went above and beyond expectation to assure we had a great weekend. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, I can’t say enough nice things about this property
Over the years with different owners we have rented this property and made a lot of wonderful family memories and there are more to be made! The hot tub was a great addition and we enjoyed sitting in it looking out over the canal. It is a beautiful home with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Beds are plenty comfortable, but guest room definitely has a squeaky box spring- we love the upper deck with plenty of seating for the wonderful evening breeze. One of our favorite things to do is watch the barges go by. This is a wonderful place to stay and I highly recommend it!
Really nice house. Kinda hard to get to, but overall we had a blast. We go on a fishing trip every year for Father’s Day to Sargent and it was the nicest house we’ve stayed in. We Caught some fish (no keepers), my daughter enjoyed the crab traps a lot. We would definitely would stay again.
This is our second time staying here amd its always a blast. Great fishing on the ICW. We huge drum amd made memories to last a life time. The house is very nice, clean amd has everything you need. We will be back again!
The house was spotless. We enjoyed fishing off of the dock. The hot tub was nice and warm when we got there. Home has a nice kitchen with under mounted sink. Will definitely book again.
Will be booking again. Lights on pier are great, it just be nice to have a bench on the pier. Grass was a bit high walking to the pier, just scared of snakes in the area.
At first we had trouble locating the key box and then the key would not work, it acted like it had a broken key in it, I was able to lubricate the key with some oil off the engine dipstick, later bought some oil to spray into the lock.
The door was white but the area around the door handle and locks were black with filth. The cleaning crew was there early at 10:30 and claimed checkout was at 10:00. Told them about the problems that we had and that I didn't get a chance to clean the door and still needed lubricating on the lock bolt.
The page with the rules of the house had a phone number to call if there were any problems, which I called and he told me he was no longer the owner. So that phone number needs to be updated.
Like I stated earlier, will book again just had a few problems that I'm sure will be taken care of before our next visit.
