Spacious condo with covered patio overlooking golf course and walkable to the beach, great restaurants, shops, spa services, resorts. Peninsula Condominiums are popular with short and long term visitors for the location, quality, and large pool and palapas with comfortable lounge furniture. This recently redecorated 2nd floor unit is the largest floorplan. Work remotely with fiber optic WIFI service. Large work table in master room, just BYOC, bring your own computer. Full sized appliances in the well-equipped kitchen if you like to cook. Many small appliances, cookware, very well equipped kitchen. Gas grill for the patio. New 50" ROKU Smart TV in living area, smaller TV in master BR. The view across the golf course from the living area and main bedroom adds to the sense of roominess. Beach toys to use. Bring your bikes or rent nearby at Thunder Bikes to use the area's dedicated bike lanes though out the area.

This was a great place in a great location. There was everything that we needed, including lots of towels. Wonderful for four of us. Would highly recommend renting this unit.

We had a great stay with our older parents and young kids. Great proximity to the beaches, shops and estuary trails. Pool is great, was never overcrowded with lots of loungers in sun and shade. Kristi happened to be in town and was quick to resupply our propane and coffee pods. We felt very safe everywhere we went. We recommend nearby Palmilla beach for swimming and snorkeling, very kid friendly and about an 8 min drive away. We really appreciated the use of the beach umbrella, chairs and bogey boards for the kids. The only suggestions we have for the place is that the knives need sharpening, an 2nd cutting board would be handy and the rug in the main living area really needs a shampoo. Salt, pepper and sugar all need to be restocked as well. We would definitely stay here again, it’s a fantastic value!

Condo his in a convenient walking distance from La Comer, restaurants and shops.The gated comunity is well kept, the pool is very kids friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will recomend Kristi condo to our friends.

Our driver had a bit of an issue finding the condo from the address, but a quick call to the owner and our issue was resolved. We enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our needs.

Nice location!

Very convenient location, fairly quiet, that obviously always depends on your neighbors and fellow renters. We have rented in this complex multiple times and have always felt safe and never had an issue. Kristi is a very good communicator

Great Location

Kristi was an amazing hostess, very accommodating to our flight issues and quick to respond despite her traveling as well. She was friendly and understanding. Her place is close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. I would recommend her place and plan on going back in the future.

Beautiful Spot

We were only at this property for two days but it was absolutely perfect. Very comfortable, well stocked with everything you might need. It has a lovely pool area with comfortable chairs in and out of the shade. Close to the beach and many restaurants. This was definitely a steal as it was very affordable. Thank you.

Our host, Kristi, was helpful and answered texts promptly. She was flexible with arrival and leaving times which we really appreciated. The condo was in a good location, about a 6 or 7min walk from the beach, 20 mins to a large grocery store and walking distance to many good restaurants. The king sized bed was comfortable and there was a good supply of towels paper products etc. The front gate was usually manned and the employees were pleasant and helpful. Loved the deck overlooking the golf course-good entertainment. Two suggestions for improvements would be new shower heads and the provision of a clearer address that local drivers would understand. I used the address provided by vrbo and our driver from the airport was very confused- if we didn’t have friends staying in the complex next door helping I don’t know how we ever would have found it. We used Uber a lot and they only seemed to be able to find it if we used the name of the la costa condos next door. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and had a very pleasant stay in Kristi’s condo.

Surf, Sun, Sand, safe stay in San Jose del Cabo

Great location in San Jose. Walking distance to just about everything in the area yet far enough off the main drag to be quiet and relaxing. Safe, well maintained complex surrounded by the golf course. Plenty of space in either sun or shade to relax around the pool. The condo unit could use some updating but was comfortable and had the basics. When there was a problem with the plumbing of the master suite shower and we couldn’t use it for the last 3 days of our stay, we were refunded 100 and Kris made arrangements for the repairs to be done after we left so as to not inconvenience us further by having workmen traipsing in and out while we were there. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Convenient location

This older property was hard for some of the drivers to find but the location is close to the beach and restaurants. We ran out of warm water every day. Loud music kept us awake till after midnight most evenings. The security guards were very helpful. The check in process was confusing and we received no sheet listing instructions.

2nd floor condo in Gated Community

7 day stay for fishing trip. Unit was as advertised but nothing extraordinary. Replacing cheap blue white LED lightbulbs with brighter warm 2700 kelvin bulbs would make it more attractive. Really need to brighten up the small bathroom. Would help to have clearer written instructions for locating the unit and a warning to take gate opener & code with you. Generally a satisfactory place.

Glad the condo worked for you. We use the cooler white bulbs ever since a renter in our other condo left a cabinet door that flips up open against the little inset light and it burned a spot and a crack into the brand new hand rubbed cabinet door. So cool white bulbs it is.

Excellent relaxing winter getaway

We booked the unit for the month of February 2025 and found it to be a very nice, good sized 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo with the deck overlooking a golf course. We found the main bedroom king sized bed was very comfortable, the TV in the living room is new and a nice size. Had all the usual amenities including a BBQ on the deck which came in handy and we used several times. Also included two beach chairs, beach towels and beach umbrella which we enjoyed the use of. The complex has a very nice pool which was never too busy and were always able to find loungers either in or out of the sun. We walked into the old town numerous times (1mile) however there is Uber as well as local buses which are easy to take into town and back. We found the owner to be very easy to contact and looked after everything we needed as well as offering information on the surrounding areas as well as things to do. It was very nice dealing with her. All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

We LOVE San Jose del Cabo so much we now have 3 condos here. We are retired educators.

Why they chose this property

We like this area so much we now have 3 condos in Peninsula. The large pool is the best in the area's condo developments. When ever possible we bring all our kids and grandkids down and fill up all the condos. The rest of the time we share them with guests. We love the community of the condos and of the area overall. We feel very safe and welcome here.

What makes this property unique

Once in the area you will find it very conveniently located if you care to walk. Taxis stand down on the Malecon or use an UBER. Bike rental is also on the Malecon. Massages and spa services are 2 blocks nearby and the big resorts like Vidanta and Viceroy welcome guests into their bars, restaurants and spas if you want a more deluxe experience. The nearby restaurants are locally owned by some of the area's best chefs. You will find dishes not available elsewhere. All within close walking proximity.
