Greenheart Cottage is a charming two-bedroom retreat located on the grounds of Greenheart House within the sought-after luxury community of Sugar Hill Estate on Barbados’ west coast. Originally developed in the early 2000s as a joint venture with tennis legend David Lloyd, Sugar Hill was designed as an upscale residential neighborhood where discerning homeowners could enjoy privacy, lush tropical surroundings, and world-class tennis facilities. Today, it remains one of the most desirable addresses on the island’s west coast.

The estate is beautifully landscaped and offers a peaceful, private setting with 24-hour security for added peace of mind. Guests have access to excellent onsite amenities including an elegant restaurant, bar, and bodega (small shop) serving a variety of delicious cuisine. For those looking to stay active, the community also features a gym, spa, and floodlit tennis and padel courts.

The property is ideally located just a short drive from Holetown, where you’ll find a wide selection of fine dining restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. It is also close to some of Barbados’ premier golf courses, including Royal Westmoreland, Apes Hill, and Sandy Lane, and offers convenient access to the stunning beaches along the island’s renowned west coast.

Greenheart Cottage itself features two air-conditioned bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open-plan living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and an outdoor sitting area perfect for relaxing in the tropical surroundings. Guests have their own dedicated parking space and full access to the Sugar Hill clubhouse facilities, including the communal pool, gym, restaurant, and tennis courts.

The rental includes a weekly laundry service for a basket of personal clothing items. Linen sheets and towels are handled separately by housekeeping.

The nightly rate is based on two guests, but the cottage can accommodate up to four guests, with each additional guest charged at US$10 per night.

When the main house is unoccupied, cottage guests may also be permitted to use the main house pool. Please note that pool use is not permitted after 6:00 PM, and further details will be provided by the property manager upon booking.

For safety reasons, guests use the pool at their own risk, and the property owners do not accept liability for accidents in the cottage, around the pool, or within the pool area.

The cottage is stocked with a starter set of essential supplies. Once these items are used, guests are responsible for purchasing any additional supplies needed for the remainder of their stay.
