Some of the amenities listed online were not present.I personally think that the price of over 200.00 was too much for what it is.Over all not the worst place to stay but definitely not close to even a good place for the price.

Awesome

Loved the size of property. Great for just 2 people. Loved that it was in the wood away from busyness. No noise just nature. It was a great getaway. Very close to gatlinsburg just a short drive. Also to pigeon forge. Used all back roads it was lovely. Will stay here again for my next stay.

A wonderful stay

The cabin was small and clean, which was exactly what we were needing. The cabin was isolated enough that we didn’t hear anyone else, but not so isolated that all the things we wanted to do were unobtainable. It’s a great location, and we will DEFINITELY be back!

Perfect Quiet Getaway

We stayed for 3 nights and loved it. Cabin was exactly as described. The location is perfect. You are at the end of the road with no car traffic except the guests and owners. Beautiful wooded lot and owners super friendly. Close to shopping and restaurants. Pigeon Forge only 12 miles away. We loved it!

Tiny cabin in the smokies

Absolutely amazing, host were wonderful! The location was great, we were here to attend a wedding, and we were able to bring our two dogs, and that’s what sold us. We will absolutely be booking again in the future.

Our stay

My fiancé and myself came to Gatlinburg to get married and this cabin was a perfect fit. We ended arriving later than planned but was able to text the host and they unlocked the cabin for us and made sure we arrived to the correct location. Overall really awesome stay and will most definitely be back.

Perfect getaway

My partner and I came up for a quick little getaway. She had never experienced the area and we both wanted to explore and relax a bit. This cabin was perfect for just that! It was super cute and had everything we needed. The location is so so convenient, yet makes you feel like you are out in the wilderness at the same time! Patrick was such an amazing host and took such good care of us! We will definitely be coming back!!!

Weekend Getaway

The cabin is rather small, but the bed was comfy and the heat worked! Be cautious of bringing your dog or dogs; there isn’t much room to walk them on property. Overall, the hosts were very welcoming and kind; we did have our pipes freeze during our stay; however, the hosts quickly fixed the situation! Thank you.

Cute little cabin

We loved staying in the little cabin in the mountains, which was quiet and secluded. We were on a short honeymoon road trip from WI and we were presented with a rose petal heart on the bed, and a rose with some treats.. it was very thoughtful. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. If they weren’t on the property working, they were responsive to texting. It was clear they work hard at making the area look nice. They also have 2 dogs that were very friendly. Great stay!

Pictures can be deceiving

If you want privacy then this cabin is definitely not for you. If you are looking for dogs running around jumping inside your vehicle as you try to unload (that aren’t your dogs) then this place is for you. Upon arriving (we arrived 15 mins early) we thought we had taken a wrong turn? The address takes you to a dead end road with no room to turn around and a house sitting right next to the cabin with many vehicles and a couple dogs running around. As we drove by the house not sure of if we were at the right place the man waved but kept walking. I immediately tried to stop him to see if we were at the right place. He assured me we were. But stated that they needed a few more mins to clean the cabin. A few mins turned into about 10. That’s no biggie right? You’ve been driving all day to check in at 4 and try to relax and they still need more time to clean? Finally after “cleaning” they were ready for us. While I’m sure the guy meant well he still offered us some beer. Again I’m sure he meant well but the last thing I want to do is kick back with someone I don’t know plus we don’t drink. Next we go to get the bags out of the suv to go inside and one of the 2 dogs running around dove in the back of my suv. Im like really!? I even told the guy I don’t think this is going to work. He remained quiet. We walk in the house and shut the door and start to look around. First all the cleaning they did there was still dirt on the floor and a stained box spring. Next the windows that are in front of the shower are only covered half way up by a blind that was pulled all the way up. So if you get out of the shower the way their house is positioned they can still look into the windows. The other blind in the other window was about 2 inches short on both sides making it easy to see through the gaps. The bed can easily be seen from the windows as well. Looking out their blinds appeared to already be cracked to where if they chose they could easily look into the house while you are sleeping or bathing. I for one value my privacy and told the hubs I could not stay there. We immediately left, we contacted vrbo who contacted them for us a refund and have yet to hear from the host. Sure it’s cheap but cheap doesn’t mean you have to worry about your privacy being violated.

Bed is too high from the floor. Bathroom is so small that you can’t close the door and use the toilet. No inside seating. Miniature balcony had two bar stools to use but they were covered with dead bugs. Would not recommend this to anyone.

About the host

Hosted by Patrick Liebo

Host profile image
Hello, Patrick and Andrea here, your vrbo hosts. We have property in the arts and crafts community of gatlinburg tn. As a contractor of 30 years and owner of this land for nearly as long, I built a small cabin for myself as a single man then as the family came the house grew bigger. Our daughter went off to college and her vacant room was just discouraging so we renovated, added a private entrance and listed it for rent nightly, at first thinking it would rent occasionally, turns out we were wrong. It stays booked yr round, Fast forward to today, we have 4 thriving rentals, working on number 5 , we do all the management ourselves so it keeps us busy. We definitely strive for great reviews by doing anything we can to make our guests feel welcome and right at home.

Why they chose this property

Our property is situated in the beautiful Oak Valley subdivision, it borders the national park on 2 sides so were the last property on n highland. This gives us opportunities that others dont have. Like being able to take off on foot and just go exploring for the day or ride mountain bikes, or ATVs on our own private trails.

What makes this property unique

It’s very common to see Bears from the late spring to late fall, We have four different seasons in each year, vividly pronouncing there unique features. Winter time provides the occasional snow and views of Mount Leconte when there are no leaves on the trees, springtime is bursting with new life. Beautiful wildflowers and dogwoods summertime brings out the bears and the fox and you see nature at its peak and then the fall colors . Its the most beautiful place in the world
