Only 25 feet to the waters edge, you will be transported back in time to the days when the simple beauty of the lake, the sunrise and sunsets on the dock, the gin clear water, views of the island with a pair of loons off in the distance were the most important things.

Welcome to Laughing Loon Lodge. This charming 30’s era home has been meticulously maintained to evoke the feeling and times when the chaos and heat of the big city got to be too much. Large spacious rooms abound and combine to make this the perfect family or group setting. Huge screened lake front porch is perfect for playing games with the family, catching an afternoon snooze or watching the kids frolick in the water off the private dock. Gorgeous wood burning, stone fireplace is available to take the early and late season chill out of the air. This quiet, setting is only 15 minutes from Minocqua and 10 minutes from the local grocery store.

My family and I had an incredible experience on Crawling Stone Lake at this property. The residence was very accommodating with its lakeside access and dock. The residence was well maintained and would definitely stay there again!

Nostalgic North Woods Cabin

We adored this cabin. So fun to see all the historic touches and history of this cabin. The lake is beautiful and we enjoyed having family time around the camp fire. The cabin has everything you need and more. Highly recommended!

This unique home showcases beautiful architecture of the 30's meticulously maintained where you can get lost in the past while enjoying amenities of the present. Plenty to do both outdoors and indoors, all family members will be entertained! Lakeside setting is lovely- quiet and peaceful with great swimming and fishing right from the dock. This is the perfect place for creating memories.
