PBH is a fully renovated, 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath craftsman-style home that features a partial view of Monroe Bay and a 5-7 minute walk to beach access through a quiet, residential neighborhood. It’s the perfect getaway for families or a group of friends. Escape from the daily grind for a few days, a week, or longer!

Colonial Beach is a small, peaceful town with a mix of permanent residents and visitors - a noise ordinance is in effect from 10PM to 8AM nightly. We hope you will treat our home and community like your own.

Great stay at Pineapple Beach House

Our stay at the Pineapple Beach House was incredible. It was so well maintained and spacious, and the host was incredibly responsive and was able to answer all of our questions very quickly. There was plenty of space for all of us and we had an incredible time. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome house!

Pineapple House is the perfect beach getaway. Wonderfully furnished; kitchen has everything you need and more; super-convenient to downtown Colonial Beach. Honestly one of the best VRBO properties I’ve ever stayed in. Check-in process was smooth and owners are almost immediately responsive to all inquiries. Would highly recommend and would certainly stay there again.

Amazing property in the middle of Colonial Beach close to Marina and all the best stuff. Clean, spacious, well equipped, copious parking, thoughtful touches like s’mores and dry wood for the fire pit and wine for the wives. Very responsive owner. We will be back soon!

Enabled fun family time

We were in town for a nearby wedding weekend and the house was a great way to stay together, combined with a second house closer in town. The house and bathrooms were all clean and welcoming and all amenities stocked and fresh. The host was friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in a little prior to 4 which was welcome as we had to be at the rehearsal not long after. The town was cute with beach, osprey nests and tiki bar as we had some time Saturday morning to explore before going to wedding.

I live full time in Washington, DC with my wife and German Shepherd! We love traveling, cooking, sports, and spending time with friends and family. We recently purchased a beach house in Colonial Beach, VA and love spending time there when we need a break from the city. We are excited to be hosting and are happy to share this special home and town with our guests!

Why they chose this property

Our home is located on “the point,” which is a short walk from the beach and downtown. Colonial Beach is also a golf cart community, and several rental companies are available nearby if you prefer to experience town on a golf cart. We have ample parking on both our front and back driveway for up to seven mid-sized vehicles. You may also park your boat on our back driveway if needed. Parking is not allowed on the street.

What makes this property unique

Colonial Beach, Virginia (CBVA) is known as the “playground of the Potomac.” It is located just 65 miles from Washington, DC and Richmond, VA and is home to the second largest beach in Virginia as well as 10 marinas. It is the perfect mix of historic charm and modern amenities. Colonial Beach was named Best Virginia Beach for 2018 by USA Today, and the Nicest Place in Virginia in 2019.

We are also located within a short drive of multiple historic sites, including the birthplace of Presidents George Washington and James Monroe, several wineries, and Westmoreland State Park. There is something for everyone to enjoy!
