Great Golf Get-Away!

This house has more than you need to make it a great vacation (additional context - we had a group of 8). Between having more than enough sleeping options and a more than perfect community space - you will find it challenge to find anything else to compare it to. The hosts were always prompt when answering any question. PS - if you are golfing - you are at the course in roughly 5 - 10 minute - can't beat that!

Annual Golf Trip

Our group has been running our golf getaway for 25 years and there is no better place for us to celebrate the anniversary than this cabin. It was everything we needed in an accommodation. We had some concerns about the noise level of 8 guys in the bunkhouse but it was remarkably quiet. When we come back to Giants Ridge I wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else.

Cook in the gourmet kitchen, dine indoors or outdoors with seating for 10, relax in the screen porch with comfortable seating and a fire table, enjoy the outdoor fire pit, and relax in the 8-person hot tub! The house has a fireplace and in-floor heat throughout the main floor for cool winter days. The bonus room with XL twin bunk beds is perfect for kids and adults. Need to work remotely? High-speed, fiber optic internet is reliable for those Zoom/Teams calls with a peaceful view of Wynne Lake.

A north woods experience with all the amenities of a luxury home! Sunset Ridge is located in Voyageurs Retreat, an association loaded with amenities. There are 6+ private parks with access to Wynne and Sabin Lakes, including day-use docks, picnic tables, and a beach. Hike the 7+ miles of hiking trails in Voyageur's Retreat, and access the Mesabi Bike Trail within the association. There are public boat launches on Wynne and Sabin Lakes to take advantage of lake activities, including fishing and water sports. Bring your kayak or SUP to get out on the lake. Use our snowshoes to explore the hiking trails in the winter, or bring your cross-country skis to get out on the frozen lake.
Giants Ridge boasts downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the spring, summer, and fall. Golf the top-rated Quarry and Legends courses at Giants Ridge. All these activities are within 5 minutes of Sunset Ridge, a destination for all seasons!
Outside of Giants Ridge, you'll find ATV and snowmobile trails throughout the area. Park your trailer in the driveway after a full day of outdoor adventure.
