Spring Break Trip

We came from Wisconsin for spring break and this house was everything we were looking for! The rooms were nice, clean, the pool was wonderful and it’s so close to all convenience stores and many fast establishments. It was a perfect place to enjoy the warmth of the sun and relax by the pool. Would book here again.

Winter Get Away

Loved the house and was well appointed thru out the home. Only suggestion would be to make heating the pool cost more clear.

Beautiful Property! Excellent owner! Will be back!

Robert bent over backwards to help us out. This property was immaculate! We were allowed early check in and I needed to store some stuff after checkout until I could drop some family members at the airport. Robert gave me access to the garage after checkout. I have no doubt he would have let us stay in unit if it wasn't rented out on our departure day. A very pleasuable stay!

Too much watching and control.

The owner controlled the temp of the house and he also controlled the temp of the pool water. There was a camera watching us that I asked to be removed, the owner was truly a control freak. Never was able to use pool.

Thank you Linda for your review.It was really an surprised for us....We were available for you on every phone call.If you would read our home rules carefully you would find out that heating pool above 80 F was an extra surcharge like in every rental home here.This cost on everage $20/DAY.You were charged nothing for that and you had a water temperature around 84F.In addition you did booked our home for 2 adults, we said nothing when your daughter arrived with her boyfriend to stay at our home.We are really surprised with your feedback.

Under surveillance

The property itself was fine. The owner met us there to let us in, which was a first. He told us he wanted us to feel at home. But, we soon noticed that when we would turn the temperature down below 74 it would go back up. I thought it was the auto setting, so I changed those to 72 daytime and 70 nighttime. It was still being changed back to 74, so we knew this was being done remotely by the owner. My husband was irritated and set it on 59 and that's when we got a message that we were violating the house rules and the temperature needed to stay on 74. We then spoke to the owner and he proceeded to tell me that he would rather have the house empty than pay high electric bills and that he coulc show me his electric bill and how it had increased since the hurricane. He also told us to shut of outdoor lights and the patio fan. So basically, we were NOT to feel at home and felt like we were being warthed the entire time and could not keep the temperature as to where we felt comfortable. I have never had an experience like this at any other vacation rental!!

This review is only patrial true. On the first night they lower AC to 62 ,on the second night they lower to 55F (outside was 90F)we have evidence for it.AC was non stop working for about 10h.They turned on outside the house ceiling fans at the highest speed and left them for hours and days.They asked to bring plumber because water was dropping from shower, when the technician came he did find out that shower handle was not completely pushed to the end.When they checked out they left house open even though we were not in the area .They left wet towels outside the house on the ground next to the pool.Their actions resulted in frozing all system and blockage of the drain line which leads to partially flooding garage...

Would Not Rent Again There is so much more to this story.Not allowing the use of heat when 62 inside

You ever fell like someone is watching you? Well every move you make in this home they are. I will try to make a comprehensive explanation that will hopefully give someone insight into the owners of this property. I am a State Certified General Contractor in Florida. After hurricane Ian came through Florida I decided that i would send a group down to help secure contracts for rebuilds and repairs form the hurricane. We are from Panama City and just a few short years ago (2018) we went through hurricane Michael. It was devastating to our community. Many people were taken advantage of by fly by night contractors looking to make quick money or just steal money form unsuspecting homeowners. We had never chased hurricanes before. We just wanted to give people a different perspective of contractors. We rented another home in Cape Coral and had a very good relationship with the owner. We were respectful of her property and left it just as we found it. It was unfortunate for us she had a recurring renter that has been a regular of hers that needed her home after us. This is what lead us to this property. I rented this property without reading the previous reviews. We were really needing a place for our sales staff ( 2-3 guys). I rented this home. I was very clear with the owner who we were and what we would be using his home as. I hid nothing. He was concerned that we were a construction crew. I continually assured him we were not. So we had a few days before we could move in due to his current vacationers from Europe. He called me to see if we could delay moving in due to a flight situation with them. I told him it was not possible. We had paid for the rental and were staying in a very expensive hotel waiting on our move in date. I offered for my guy to share the house until the vacationers could catch their flight. He agreed but by happenstance he had another place to put them. I had explained that we had construction materials and tools that were left from previous people we had down there working. We could not just leave their tools or their materials,. Again i assured Robert that we were not going to be doing construction work but merely using the home as a sales base. Well cameras are everywhere, imagine my surprise after having been completely honest when i received an email an text saying our stay was canceled. I call and ask what was the issue. He explained that we have violated his policy by bringing tools in to the house. DO NOT RENT HERE

This review is not legitimate. TIM NEVER stayed at our property,so how he can review it . Tim never stayed at our home.He just booked for someone else. He stated that his daughter broke a hand and he can not come...than he supposed to come but he said he is too busy ,maybe later in few days...so he actually never got to our home. He sent his crew to use our house. We told Tim several times that this is vacation home not a working camp but he did not care about it. After hurricane IAN many contractors move into the area from all over US ,trying to rent vacation homes .While at check in his people brought inside boards, tolls ect.Their vehicles were leaking oil on our driveway ,they were heavy somkers so there were cigarette remainings all over the house (we have evidence for it).On the end TIM proposed to one of our friends that he can replace his damaged pool cage , but the price he sent in the estimate was more than 2x the local company prices so our friend refused this offer and in return we got this review ...
