Front door needs to be repainted. Master bath toilet valve needs to be adjusted or replaced . May be a pressurized tank with a leaky valve and makes a lot of noise every ten minutes. All else is good. Beds comfortable. Enjoyed the stay. HVAC system is very quiet and comfortable. Thank you.

Great place

Everything was great! Stayed for the kiawah marathon and the location was perfect, we were able to walk to the start/finish. Would stay here again

Great rental on Kiawah Island

This rental was in a great location with easy beach access. Loved having community pool and dock close by. Would stay here again on future visit.

The mattress in the primary bedroom was really soft, ended up with a backache each morning. Could have used a few more guides about Kiawah and getting around, but it's a beautiful setting and lots of great amenities.

Beautiful Place!

We had a great stay. The place was easy to find, conveniently located and overall, a great place to stay. Check in was very easy, and the app available from the management company was a great asset. There was a moisture issue around the bedroom heat ducts and a water spot on the ceiling in the dining area. It wasn't clear of this was an ongoing water leak or a past issue that had been resolved. Overall, we would definitely stay there again!

Will Define Book Again

We had a wonderful stay. The house was a great location, just a quick 10 minute walk to the beach. The house is on the older side, but has had some upgrades. The kitchen was very clean and had everything we needed. Washer and dryer work great. The only negatives we noticed were in the master bathroom, the door to the shower/toilet would stick and the front room got warmer than the rest of the house. We would definitely book again!

Clean and cozy

The stay was great- a wonderful location! The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The furniture was dated but functional. The wifi is spotty and needs to constantly be reset- so if you are depending on working remote highly suggest bringing a hot spot or plan on going to one of the resort buildings to use their wifi. The sweetgrass team was very pleasant and overall responsive to our needs. Overall we would recommend this for location and function for a relaxed family beach vacation.

Wonderful property / fabulous customer service

I highly recommend this particular property group, and their properties. Prior to arrival, we actually had a snag with our original booking -- to no fault of their own -- and they were prompt in communicating this to us, as well as incredibly accommodating in relocating us. My team and I frequent Kiawah Island for work, and agreed this was a wonderful stay/ property that we would absolutely return to! Amazing location, great porch, views, quiet corner of Kiawah, so much great space in both bedrooms and common spaces. Highly recommend!! :)

Nice stay

Over-all the stay was nice. The only things that could be addressed are the livingroom furniture and the cleaning crew were not satisfactory. Very glad they had a grill to use. I've stayed at kiawah for 25 years and all the homes are close to the same. Main difference is screen porch and view. The appliances were nice as well. The back door does not lock. We were fortunate to find a place considering we booked late. We enjoyed our vacation.

Needs improvement

We've been coming to Kiawah for years and love the Sparrow Pond and Inlet Cove cottages. The house had most basics (although no Tupperware) and is in a great location, but we were disappointed by the lack of maintenance and care for the house itself. It did not meet our expectations for a Kiawah vacation rental. There appears to have been an HVAC issue that has led to black mold growing around three of the air vents. There was evidence of water damage on the ceiling in the dining room and in the jack-n-jill bathroom, as well as an unfinished mirror removal in the master bathroom and kitchen trim that is missing. Can lights in the ceiling were loose and hanging. We weren't expecting to find a vacation rental in this condition and reported everything to Sweetgrass Properties with photos. Their solution was to send over a nice guy with a bleach product to spray on the mold. I asked that he not spray because we had two babies in the house, two of the vents were in bedrooms, and we did not want to smell bleach for the rest of our vacation. There was no discount offered or option to move to a different cottage. We would be hesitant to rent from Sweetgrass Properties again.
