I loved the property and Eldad great with communicating with us throughout the stay. We had an issue on our end with unlocking the door and he came over right away to help us get in. He was also happy to help us extend our stay last minute. The space was great and exactly what we needed it for. It was right near a lot of food and entertainment, so we didn’t really need to drive. We were also able to find a parking space right away. Though could see it being hard to find towards the weekend! I highly recommend staying here if you’re in Baltimore!

Let me start with: it was a nice enough, basic place to stay. As far as what the host has control over, the fire alarm was beeping. Now, there are a couple of things I wish we had known before going that would've changed my mind. Not being from somewhere where row houses are a thing, we were a little caught off guard by how narrow and steep the hallway and stairwell were to reach the living levels. Luckily, our friend who is 6'3", 400 lbs. wasn't able to make it last minute because I have a feeling he would've struggled to get into the home. Not the host's fault, but just something to note if booking. There also wasn't drinking water, only tap, so plan accordingly for that. Lastly, again, this is something the host can't change, and we understand it's just part of being in the city of Baltimore. However, there is a homeless woman camped across the street. Our second night there, she chose to use the Vrbo's stoop as her shelter from the possible rain. We got back late, and she was completely blocking the front door. She also left all her trash: 7 boxes of honey buns, some gift bags, and glasses by the door. Again, nothing the host could control, but a risk of booking in the neighborhood, had I been traveling with, say, my elderly parents or girlfriends, instead of my boyfriend, would have made me really uncomfy. Will 100% be choosing to stay in a hotel instead the next time we find ourselves in Baltimore.

Regarding the fire alarm, I apologize for the inconvenience. Guest comfort and safety are very important to us, and we would have been happy to address it immediately if it had been reported during your stay. This home is a historic Baltimore row house, and as is common with many properties in neighborhoods like Fells Point, the layout includes traditional narrow stairways and hallways. We do our best to provide clear photos and descriptions so guests can understand the character and layout of the home before booking. For drinking water, Baltimore tap water is safe to drink, but we appreciate the suggestion and will consider adding bottled water or another option as an additional convenience for guests. Regarding the situation outside the property, we understand your concern. Unfortunately, like many urban neighborhoods, occasional street issues can occur that are outside of a host’s control. We always encourage guests to contact us during their stay if anything impacts their comfort so we can assist in any way possible. We appreciate your feedback and wish you safe travels in the future.

There were plenty of places nearby to eat, visit, and just walk to. They had everything we needed such as soap, toilet paper, laundry detergent dishes and so on.
