10 minutes from Turkey Run Staate Park. In a super quiet small town. . Fun place to stay in the office of a school! Lots of details for a comfortable stay, water in the fridge and extra bedding. Great AC to cool off after hiking. Nice touch on the gift bag! Loved learning the history of the school and the town. The library down the street for a walk back to the days where the library was an event to visit.

Quaint doesn't begin to describe it. It's AMAZONG!! And huge!! My husband and son had an amazing experience. Charles is a great host and answers all questions quickly. Even left a little welcome bag that was a nice touch! So cool that is was an old school convertes into this BNB! Would recommend and visit again!!

We loved the idea of an abandoned school being converted for multiple uses. Being educators it was fun staying in a school. Very close to beautiful hiking trails. Enjoyed our stay immensely!

This was the coolest place we have ever stayed! We like to find unique and different places to stay. This places topped them all! So much thought put into the whole school, not just the apartment. Having access to the lobby game room and the old gymnasium exceeded our expectations. All kinds of school history hung along the walls to learn about the life of the school. I only wish there was more than just one apartment/BNB so we could bring our family to stay there. Close to everything we wanted to do as well. Thank you Mr. Charles. This is one for the books and will never be forgotten!

Great place to stay between Turkey Run and Shades State Parks. Plenty of room for our group of four. It was fun to have access to the games in the common area. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Sweet place to stay. Very well appointed. Plenty of towels and kitchen items. Appreciated the coffee and water. Bed is comfortable. We had everything we needed. Great creativity in using a schoolhouse. We came to go hiking at Turkey Run with our two dogs. We all had a good trip!

What an excellent place to stay near Turkey Run State Park. About a 10-minute drive, and it was a nice option for those who don't want to set up camp, but still get all the benefits of the park. While we weren't there for much, the beds were super comfy, the neighbourhood was still (so quiet), and the common areas for shooting pool, shuffleboard, and air hockey were just perfect - after warming up from the colder hike. We are already planning our next trip and hope to stay here again!

This place was perfect. Not fancy but more than adequate with lots of towels, dishes, kitchen supplies and perfectly clean. Would definitely return and tell others about this place if they were visiting Turkey Run.

I LOVE that the apartment is located in an old school! I rented it because of its proximity to Turkey Run and Shades state park. The apartment was neat and clean, but my favorite part was access to the gym and games! My kids and I had so much fun playing basketball, ping pong and pool. We will definitely be planning on going back for another stay.

This facility is awesome. Easily the coolest VRBO I have ever used. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in or around the Parker county area.
