Tristan Towers 9B is a two bedroom, two bath corner condo on the 9th floor with Gulf and Sound View wraparound balcony boasting balcony access for both bedrooms! The entire condo has tile flooring throughout. The living area has corner floor to ceiling views of the Gulf of Mexico, a flatscreen tv, and opens up to the balcony. The dining area seats 6. The fully equipped kitchen is light and bright and has a pass through to the living space. The master has a queen bed and gulf view balcony access. The second guest bedroom has two twins and opens up to the sound view balcony. Enjoy the Free WiFi and washer dryer for your convenience. Tristan Towers is a 16 story complex with 90 condos on the sound side of Pensacola Beach but boasts gulf views in some units as well! It is located on one of the most narrow parts of Santa Rosa Island, so the beach and the sound are so close that there is water all around. You will love the Olympic sized swimming pool, a sundeck, lighted tennis courts, the fishing pier and the gated entry. Families will love the grills with picnic tables by the sound and there are boat slips as well. In addition, to all of that, the Gulf of Mexico is just steps away. Tristan Tower 9B with its wrap around balcony was living the good life. The view alone is worth every penny. Kitchen fully equipped, washer/dryer in great condition. Great TV options in Living room and Master, second bedroom only got a couple of channels, but we weren’t there to watch tv. Easy check-in easy checkout. Plan to return!

Beautiful view!

We have stayed at Tristian Towers previously and returned because of the beautiful view. The only reason I would not recommend this unit is the horrible beds. I wonder why after many mentions of this they don’t feel the need to replace them.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great views from this unit! Have to admit the unit is "old and tired" looking. It was relatively clean; we did have to wash dishes before using them. This unit needs a good paint job and some updating. The bathrooms are in need of clean, shower doors and the master is in need of losing the salon doors; not much privacy... The walk to the beach was an easy one. Really enjoyed the quietness of the location and the beauty of nearby Ft. Pickens. I would probably not be a returning guest to this unit.

Too old amenities and not helpful management to resolve issue

Bad: Amenities are too old especially main bed which is collapsed on the center of the bed by old springs so I could not sleep on the bed but used couch. Shower glass door is almost out of sliding track so definitely need to be maintained to prevent hazardous issue. I had late check-in (1.5 hrs late) due to cleaning have not been done on time. I also have wifi router issue and reported it to the maintenance but not supported by their service team and I fixed myself after figured out myself what was wrong. Good: Good view. Spacious. Fast internet.. Fast elevator. Close to beach. Amenities are old but fully equipped.

BAD bed and outdated

The master bed is absolutely terrible. There are no slats on the frame and the mattress sags terribly. This is a known issue (see previous reviews) and easy fix but nothing done about it. The A/C vent above the master bed rattles when on. Ceiling fan in living room didn’t work. A/C vents are filthy. The condo is outdated. The reason there is no pic to the master bathroom is because there is no door! The best thing about this condo is the view from the wraparound porch. The condo is on the bay side but you can see the gulf.

Great view! Poor communication

As others have said the view can't be beat. The last review I read was June 2022 and I can say the furniture has been replaced, the beds were comfortable and the living room furniture was fine. I do wish there was more seating on the balcony. It is very outdated, but that didn't bother us. Leading up to our arrival the responses to my questions were within a couple hours. However, in the 30 minute window where I was supposed to receive all of the codes and was sitting outside the gate, no one was answering. They had told me to call if I was early, which is impossible and no matter what selection I chose it went to voicemail and I never received a call back, glad I didn't have an emergency! I received most of the codes 5 minutes before and the actual door code a little after our check in time as we were standing outside the door trying to figure out which one it was. I decided to not try and contact them again during our stay. I did ask about recycling, but didn't receive a response, and figured they just didn't which was disappointing. I did not appreciate all the emails asking about real estate, even after I said no to the first one. Not sure if I would stay again, but that view may call us back!

Clean but dated

Let me start by saying that the condo was very clean and well prepared by the property manager with what they have to work with. The condo is dated and needs a renovation. The ceiling in the master bath was coming down and there was no door separating the toilet from anything. It was at the end of a long hallway from the bedroom right next to the shower. The only kind of privacy if you could call it that were 2 saloon style doors on a half wall. The bed in the master was a queen size and very uncomfortable. I don’t want to bad mouth the property because it wasn’t bad at all. We had a very nice vacation. With some elbow grease and some updates it could be a very nice condo. There were a lot of little things that didn’t work or needed work.

The best part of the condo was the view from the wrap around balcony. The unit furnishings were old and worn. A cabinet door had to be held shut with a chair. That chair had a split in two back. The swivel chair in the lr was so worn it was peeling. The unit is in need of a major overhaul. The tv in the 2nd bedroom had a screen about 12 inches. Work was being done on the exterior, which we were not informed of. We lost use of our balcony 2 days while they worked, being loud with music, singing and laughing. THE A/c went out one night. Once notified, it was taken care of in good time. Again, the views were the highlight of our stay. If the unit is given tlc it would be amazing. Management was very responsive to any issues that came up.

PLace was clean and view is awesome.

I wish this place has better furniture, especially beds. Double bed in master room matress is old and very uncomfotable, my in laws has the worse time sleeping there. The sofa-bed in living room its old and doesnt open ot close property to the point maintanence provide us with an air matress. Wifi doesnt work properly, maintanence people came in and couldnt make it work either, they call the provider to come and unfortunanelly they could only come the day before we were leaving. this made my work very hard. I will definately like to rent this place again but only if they upgrade the beds and sleeping sofa, otherwise no, which is a shame because the view is awesome :(
