Near Blmgtn, Monroe Lake, Hoosier National, Harden Ridge, Paynetown State Park.

No pets please. Wonderful outdoor space with plenty of comfortable deck space and a ridgeline/ wooded walking and access to charles Dean Wilderness forest. The property has plenty of room to pull-in a fishing boat.. Nestled next to several large Indiana nature parks for fantastic for hiking, biking, fishing, boating and lake actives. Located just S of lake Monroe and Indiana University. There are several boat ramps area as well as boat/kayak rentals just minutes away. Near Bloomington it takes just 15 minutes to get to Indiana University and all the cultural benefits a large research university has to offer. IU has music arts, museums, limestone architectural builings. Our nearby State and federal lands nearby include Paynetown, Cutright and Allen’s Creek, Harden Ridge, Brown County State Park, Charles Deen and Hoosier National Forest all protected lands for us to enjoy. Hoosier National forestry which out the back ridge line. Hardin Ridge and Payne Town offer some of the nicest bike riding, hiking and camping sites in the area. Brown County state park is listed as a national top mountain bike destination stops.

Please start the any towels used in the washing machine before you leave.
Kindly take trash to the the tote and pull the tote to the street if you have time. Often we leave it on the street all the time anyway.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Supervised outdoor fires when allowed by the county and fires must be put out completely when done.
Scrape all food into the trash please to save the septic and nothing but toilet paper down the toilet.
Take the trash out daily please and please respect the neighbors privacy by keeping noise to a minimum.

We had a great time. A nice place to stay with plenty to do around the Hoosier National Forest. Close enough to Bloomington to run to town to grab anything you need. Owner was very responsive if we had any questions.

Family celebrations

We stayed here for a combined Thanksgiving/Christmas celebration with family. The space was perfect and had no problems navigating around the house. Everyone had their own rooms/space and no one felt on-top of one another. We had 5 adults in our party and the location was amazing. Would stay here again!

Great spot

Pictures were great representation. We were able to check in early. The surrounding area was spacious and great for a fall visit. Could easily see going back and would recommend. It was hard to leave-more to explore and felt likr home.

A+ A-frame!

Can't say enough great things about this property! My son's were in love within 5 minutes! Everything about the house makes you feel at home almost immediately. Matt, the host, was super helpful with all questions we had about the surrounding area. We loved our whole experience.
