Large home overlooking Lower Nashotah Lake. Lake view was lovely and peaceful. Home was clean and had enough beds to accommodate our group. Use of three bathrooms was a real plus. Kitchen had plenty of dishes and glassware as well as many appliances. Location is ideal for access to surrounding areas. We enjoyed our stay.

Loved the porch and pier areas. Great for accommodating our guests. Lake is very clean and clear, close to so many things to do! Every room is well appointed, comfortable and so charming. Host is excellent! Very responsive. Highly recommend!!

First and foremost, the lake view is STUNNING! My friends and I spent hours sitting on the porch, talking and enjoying the view. The fall colors were beautiful! We did not get out on the lake, so I can't speak to that, but it looked very nice. The yard is very well maintained and the playground area was impressive!We found the beds to be very comfortable. The sheets and bedspreads were clean and of high quality. While searching for my sandals, I looked under the bed and found quite a few dust bunnies and a piece of trash. The other beds hadn't been cleaned underneath in a while, either. One of the couches in the living room was very dusty and caused allergy problems for 2 members of our party. These issues were reported to the property manager and I believe she will follow up with the cleaning crew so it isn't a problem in the future.We were surprised, and a little alarmed, that some of the light fixtures flicker. This might be expected in an older home, but the dining room light was, at times, more like a strobe light than a slight flickering and we were unable to use the room after dark. The ceiling fan in the main bedroom was very loud when I turned it on, but quieted down after a few minutes. Oh, and bring ice because the icemaker in the fridge did not produce much ice. Probably due to hard water.Final thoughts: expect a few issues but come for the lake and the historic aspects of the home. You will thoroughly enjoy the view and the lake!

Great Lake

The house fit all our needs and our stay was excellent! The lake was so clean we could see the bottom. The lake was calm, quiet and peaceful-we had a great week at this vacation rental. Highly recommend!

Great house in a great location

We enjoyed the charming house and the beautiful views of the lake from the covered porch. Very private setting but just a few miles to the great towns of Oconomowoc and Delafield for terrific restaurants. Very relaxing with fun nearby. Who could ask for more?

The property was excellent, plenty of room for family to gather. Property was warm and inviting. Home was well stocked with pots and pans and other necessities. Host was easily accessible to contact and always responded within minutes. Without question, I would book this property for another get-a-way!

Great stay!

Our family was in town for a short weekend and the house was perfect! Everyone had their own space which was great. The porch was so peaceful, and we enjoyed the great view of the lake.

Goof for a family stay

This property is in a great location on a small lake. I will DM the property manager for a couple areas of improvement that I feel would bring it to a five star on a relative basis, but we would gladly stay there again.

Family wedding weekend

This was a great place for our family to gather. We were busy with wedding festivities, so it was nice to have a home and lovely grounds for the kids to run around on while we were there. Lovely, well maintained classic lake home.
