We had a fantastic, peaceful vacation at Belland’s Little acres. We would love to go back in the Fall to see the colors. We really enjoyed just sitting on the dock watching the Loons. We also enjoyed fishing from the dock. This was definitely a place we would like to stay at again.P.S. The signs leading to the property were incredibly helpful as our GPS was not.
For us, this was the vacation of a lifetime from the moment we drove up to the cabin to the time we left!! The cabin was clean and welcoming. The outside area was well groomed and pleasant.Fortunately the weather was cooperative and perfect which added to the experience!! We loved the lake view and the steps on the pier were helpful for getting in and out of the lake. The fishing was great with plenty of bluegill and a few bass caught and all released. I do recommend water shoes for swimming because it's a little murky and rocky. The only thing that would have made it any better would be if we were able to launch our fishing boat but this was explained ahead of time and the boat provided with our trolling motor worked fine. Thanks for the memories and can't wait to go back next year!!
We had an amazing stay at this cabin! It was cute, cozy, and had absolutely breathtaking views of the lake. The wraparound porch quickly became our family’s favorite spot to relax, enjoy our morning coffee, and take in the scenery. The amenities made the trip even better. Having a Weber grill, a fish cleaning table after a day on the water, and a playground for the kids made it such a fun and memorable experience for our whole family. The cabin itself had so much character—we especially loved all of the taxidermy throughout the cabin, which gave it a true Northwoods feel. One thing we really appreciated was the air conditioning. It kept the cabin cool and comfortable during a warm summer weekend, making it easy to unwind after spending time outside. This cabin helped create memories our family will cherish, and we can’t wait to come back and make many more. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!
Beautiful cabin & property. Updated, cozy & clean. Delightful. The most peaceful lake we have ever stayed on in the 45 years we have been enjoying our Northwoods vacations.
We had an awesome stay at the cabin. The amenities were exactly as described. Our family enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock and on the lake all week. Only thing I would say is be prepared coming in, as the drive for anything is 25 minutes away. But overall we had a great stay and would come back!!
I can't say enough about the property management team, and the owner of the property. They all went out of there way to accommodate us and make sure we had a great stay! The team , location, and cabin are all 5 stats in my book!!!
Very nice place. The wife and i loved it as well as are 2 dogs. Took the row boat out for some fishing..got some nice smallmouth bass all released. Over all its a nice cabin. Would book again for sure. One small glitch was check in. We arrived at 4 (check in time) but cleaning crew was still there. Waited about 35 minutes for them to finish up. No biggie.
First time in this area of Wisconsin.
Pros:
Comfortable accommodations. Beds are comfy, DirecTV, central air (wow!… really), appliances and furniture are nice (if not a tad too big for the layout). Easy access to the lake (flat ground and few steps), huge and wonderful deck and an awesome fire pit (firewood not included). I’ll add that a dumpster is easy access to dispose of trash.
Cons:
We said this location is everywhere and nowhere at the same time. This is not a tourist spot, if you are looking to go to restaurants they are few and far between. There is a nice one .5 mile away, but it’s only open Thursday-Sunday. Everywhere else is 15+ miles away and they are for locals (we were denied service at one place b/c the owners were too old to keep up with the 10 of us there.)
Fishing was poor, but maybe be that had something to do with time of year.
In conclusion:
Owners were great and honest. Cabin is cozy. Wish there was more in the area, but if you bring food and simply want relaxation, this place is for you!!
