We are very close to the Dollar General, which is well stocked with basic pantry needs, some produce, and milk, eggs. Also, we are on the public boat access side of the lake. This is important because boats without collapsible towers cannot clear to get under the bridge. This is not an issue on our end of the lake. Our lake entry offers it all a very small beach area for walk in entry with a calm shallow swimming area, off the docks left side is deeper water ranging from 6-9ft depending on lake levels. while the long side ranges in depth from 5-1.5 feet depending on lake levels. This means younger children can touch while older children/ adults can float and swim in deeper areas. The Lilly Pad also offers plenty of fun for games or sunbathing. We are close to the marina (within 5 minutes) and local food spots like Buoy's Grill, Off the Bone, & ice cream at the marina store ABC liquor store. Milton is close by, 10–15-minute car ride, and offers a few more restaurants like Aunt Millie's pizza, Milton Eatery & Saloon. Need more explore Roxboro 20 minutes away offering Walmart, more restaurants and wineries like Tunnel Creek and Rock of Ages.
