The house suited our needs for a much needed girls trip! It could use some use some updated linens; the towels were quite thin. The location was great, very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen could use a smaller saucepan and measuring cups/spoons. We had a great time and would stay here again.

Lisa is a fantastic host! She left so many helpful tips and recommendations for visiting acadia, restaurants, finding fresh lobsters, etc. The property was clean and all our needs were met. Very easy check-in and out, and we had so much fun at nearby Schoodic point.

Wonderful open space home with plenty of beds. Comfortable beds and the WIFI is outstanding. We ran the MDI 10K and the house was close enough to Bar Harbor that it was only about an hours drive. Coffee maker with a Kureg was a plus. Would stay here again.

Spacious, clean rental. Nice trails out back for a short walk to Grand Marsh Bay. We enjoyed the open concept on the first floor and the spacious bedrooms on the second floor. Great property for traveling with extended family. Note if you are traveling with kids, make sure to check them well for ticks as this is woodys New England and they are everywhere.

My family has an excellent time staying here for the week! There are tons of shops nearby, the host is very responsive, and the secluded nature of the home makes for a nice stay. We would definitely stay here again!

I wish the owners had not listed the property as having water access as well as telling me when I asked if my son could go fishing, I was told yes, but the water access was a marsh. The house is on a well and we lost water for a couple of hours on the third day. We had not used much water that day and wish the homeowners had told us that conserving water needs to happen. The rest of the 15 days we only lost water one more time. For a house that can accommodate that many people, that needs to be stated. We had lots of space and enjoyed being together in the home. We brought propane and a propane burner as well as a lobster pot to cook our lobsters outside. The trail across the road to Forbes pond was great and the proximity to Schoodic was great. When I reported issues with the house the owner was quick to tell me her handyman would fix it after we left. Beds were comfy and we found the towels after a bit of searching. Still confused about the two washers and dryers. For other renters I think the dumpster are for surrounding houses, many people drooped off trash. For us being pet friendly was a plus and lots of supplies provided.Enjoy
