June 2021 stay

It is was in an excellent location, close to Acadia National Park entrance and to Bar Harbor. The mattresses were extremely comfortable, a plus. The only drawback was the staircase which was narrow stepped and extremely creaky. The bathroom door and the door to the bedroom with the two queen beds did not fully close. That being said, it was an enjoyable stay.

The unsafe and filthy house

It was a horrible experience! I DO NOT recommend this place at all. We had issues with the house when we first walked into it September 1st 2022 we then reached out to Vrbo and Aaron...we called vrbo daily, sent emails. We sent emails to Aaron and never got any response until September 10th. So he lacks communication skills severely! A good host would reach out to see how things are going. The place was filthy, smelled horrible, cobwebs everywhere it was dirty! The stairs are very steep without handrails. If you have any breathing or mobility issues this is NOT the place for you! We finally expressed our concerns on September 10th when Aaron finally sent a message but he could care less. It is not the same place Aaron describes on vrbo listing .

Great Property. Great Location.

This property was a great central location for our stay in Maine. If you are looking to spend alot of time in Acadia, this property is perfect. It is central enough to see many of the things this part of Maine has to offer. Communication with the owner was quick and reliable. Great stay.

Great Location near Bar Harbor and Acadia; Great Hosts to work with

This is a comfortable home with everything you need for your stay around Bar Harbor and Acadia. We spent a week here and enjoyed great sleep in very comfortable beds. Even though we were close to everything, this house is away from the busyness of town, and we found it a great place to relax. The hosts were great to work with and provided some wonderful local welcome gifts like fresh Blueberry pie and jam. 5 Stars to Aaron and Erin!

Mount Desert stay

The property was perfectly located for visiting all parts of Acadia. The place was clean and roomy enough for 4. You could easily have a couple of kids in the house as well although it might be tight quarters for more than 4 adults. Aaron was great - helpful and responsive to my questions. We really enjoyed our visit and have no complaints. But, the house is more rundown than the description suggests.
