This newly renovated home is located on Minge Cove in Alton where guests can savor the breathtaking views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the many mountains beyond from this fantastic waterfront home.

This home is conveniently located to many of the Lakes Region's area attractions including Gunstock Mountain Resort, hiking trails, retail shopping, and dining.

With a private dock that will accommodate up to a 22 foot boat, two decks, a patio, and a fire pit, this is the perfect vacation for your family and friends.

The main level of the home offers a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom, and a spacious dining and living area. This space is perfect for the whole group to gather in. Stream your favorite shows and movies, prepare meals together in the kitchen, and gather around the long wooden dining table for a meal and board games after. There are three bedrooms, an additional living area, and a deck located on the upper level.

Fabulous house and view

Great property and perfect for family stay. We used it as a base for ski races at Gunstock, only 10 minutes away. Fantastic waterfront property and views are outstanding. We would definitely come back.

Great lake house

I have stayed at a lot of lake houses, and this one was one of the best. We had views of the sunrise and sunset it was a great location. The house was furnished with everything we needed. Highly recommend this property.

Great location & place

Great spot on the lake between the cove & islands. House was in great shape and having a relaxing living space on each floor was convenient. While there were a good amount of stairs to get from the driveway to the house, it was well-maintained. The view was phenomenal from just about everywhere in the house and the second floor deck was nice but could have used some chairs/tables. Would definitely rent again.

This is a beautiful house on the water Be aware there are many stairs to get to the home and also the lake Bedrooms are great the game room was used often by the kids Enjoyed the loons ducks hummingbirds and the otter Again absolutely beautiful property Thank you

Beautiful home and setting

We stayed for six nights and had a very enjoyable stay. The views of the lake from the kitchen and common areas are unbeatable. Beds and bedrooms were comfortable. We didn’t mind the steps from the parking area, but as noted, they wouldn’t be good for people with mobility problems. We would have appreciated a binder with all the necessary information on the home, area restaurants, etc, including instructions on using the wood burning stove (we tried using it but had to stop due to smoke). Would we stay here again? Yes!

Amazing deck overlooking the lake

Phenomenal location with fantastic dock, expansive multi-level outdoor area, and kitchen with ample cooking equipment. We had a great week and would recommend to anyone that loves spending time without the distractions of too-crowded coves, or noisy neighbors. Really amazing place to unwind, swim, kayak and boat.

Peaceful Lakeside Retreat

We spent 4 days at this beautiful home on the lake. The house was immaculate and quietly situated in a cove. We swam, kayaked and read on the deck. This would be perfect for a large family vacation and we’ll be back with our kids for sure.

Beautiful, comfortable home on the lake w perfect amenities. It is even more stunning than the photos depict. Perfect location - great biking, kayaking, and hiked Mt Major which is close by. The guys caught huge small mouth bass too!

A peaceful space

This home is exactly as presented in the photos. It is very comfortable and designed for big groups with the flexibility of being able to use multiple spaces for quiet time. Absolutely loved it! We would note that if you have mobility issues that the stairs down to the house may give you pause. It is totally worth it! The views are amazing!

Great week overall. The house was the perfect size (for 2 couples) in the perfect location. Lake view could not have been better. The house could use some updates/maintenance. 2 screens were missing when we arrived, sheets were too small, outdoor stonework bordering on dangerous in places. It has the potential to be amazing.

Lakefront Gem

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property!! The location was perfect and provided spectacular views of Lake Winnipesaukee from almost every room. The house was clean and beautifully furnished, and the beds were very comfortable! Since our stay was in late November, we didn't get to really enjoy the outside deck as much as we would have liked, but we did get one evening to enjoy the firepit and take in the gorgeous scenery. Would definitely stay there again!! I do wish it was dog friendly (at least on the 1st floor) as I would love to stay there in the summer with my hubby and pup and have my adult children join us as it would make a wonderful place for a family reunion. In any case, it gets 5 stars from me!!
