Spectacular sunsets and sunrises await, and a furnished screened porch overlooks the lake - this knotty pine cottage takes full advantage of the views.

Cook out on the grill and enjoy dining alfresco on the lake-view deck or at the picnic table by the water. The lower level has a nice open game room feel and a double door that walks out to the hammock hanging in the breeze.

Vacation on Winnepesaukee

We arrived and the house was great. Has a beautiful view of the lake. However, we learned that with such a big lake, there are times that the water is too tough to boat. We brought our own boat and took it out when the conditions permitted. We had a wonderful trip with our family and were able to take our 2 golden retrievers.

house and property were fantastic. very clean when we arrived. beautiful view, comfortable beds and linens, very well appointed kitchen. Would have been an extra bonus to have a canoe or row boat but we enjoyed the docks, the beach and the water immensely.

Super relaxing! Very comfy

Absolutely loved the waterfront and docks. Perfect spot for tying up and floating on a tube, and what a view! Another favorite spot was the screened in porch. Spent our mornings drinking coffee there and ate our meals at the table there! The house was comfortable as was the bed in the main bedroom. No complaints from the people in the bedrooms upstairs and glad to have the half bath upstairs for that group. The kitchen could use more storage for food but had all the essentials. When we’re on Winnipesaukee we usually stay over by Meredith but this was a fabulous location. Wolfeboro is awesome and a short drive. The lake seemed quieter in Alton. Not so much boat traffic. Overall a great stay!

Lovely Waterfront

Beautiful views of the lake, loons, waves lapping the shoreline, fishing boats, speed boats, jet skis, etc. Bought a NH fishing license online and caught pumpkinseeds and large mouth bass! Saw a mink, and garter snake right on the rock jetty. Early mornings and late evenings were best for paddle board and kayaking. Some nice easy trails for hiking a short drive away. Hung out on the screened porch quite often. Very friendly neighborhood.

Great location on the lake

Comfortable, roomy house in a great location on the lake with a boat dock. The check-in process was complicated by a tech malfunction with texting door codes but overall the host was responsive. I wish this place, and most rentals in NH, would do away the linens and towels rental and just include them in the rental price.

Truly wonderful with a million dollar view

The view of the water is amazing. The house sits on a bit of a point so anywhere you look, you see water. We could sit on the deck with coffee and watch the sun rise every morning. Our favorite place to watch the sunset every night was on the dock but there's not a bad location. The dock is amazing. Great if you have a boat or like to fish. At first I was a little worried about the 1.5 bathrooms but the owners have it set up very efficiently and it was no problem at all for 6 adults to share the one shower. It was hard to leave at the end of the week.
