Enjoy Spectacular Views of the lake & mountains while staying at this beautiful luxury property.

Just steps away from Akwa Marina, renters have full access to the Yacht Club's Amenities including A large sandy beach, custom pool and patio, hot tub, volleyball court, bocce ball court, two outdoor propane fire pits, two outside pavilions. There is beach furniture and umbrellas throughout the club. Akwa Marina Beach Bar, home of one of the best Lobster rolls in NH is also located at the marina. Enjoy lunch/dinner and cocktails while sitting in the Gazebo bar or even poolside. Guests also enjoy the activities at the club, such as live music, and members' events like yoga, etc.

The home is a 4 Bedroom, 4 Bathroom home. two king beds, two twins, a full and a pull-out couch. There are 4 bathrooms- two full baths, a 3/4 bath, and a powder room.

Akwa Marina Amenities are open from May 15th -Oct 15th. The beach bar operates separate hours, and is weekends only after labor day and closes for the season in Mid September.

More details on the homes: The property sits on a hill, set back 200 ft from the water, overlooking Meredith Bay and the marina/beach club. Enjoy views of Governors Island and Spindle Point. Built in 2014, this home was designed to resemble a New England barn with red cedar shake siding and a large copper cupola. This is the End Unit Townhome. Located off the kitchen is a huge 700+ square foot wrap-around deck with glass railings overlooking the lake and mountains.

The main floor has an open-concept kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Dining areas include an 8-foot large island in the kitchen that seats 6 and a large outdoor table on the deck that sits up to 8. Open-concept living room with 2 couches (1 is a pullout).

Wide plank hickory floors throughout the home. (no carpet anywhere)

Here is a little about the area: This home is a 5-minute drive to downtown Meredith, a beautiful quint lakeside town with specialty shops and restaurants. Gunstock Mountain is a 15-minute drive from door to door. Funspot, the largest arcade in the world, is a half mile away and is great place to take the family. Ice fishing is just steps outside the back door. The winning fishing derby fish was caught out in front of the marina a couple years. Just a short stroll down the street is Weirs Beach. There you will find shopping, restaurants, pizza/ice cream, arcades, scenic train rides, and one of the Ports for Mount Washington Cruise Ship.

Winter activities include skiing, snowboarding (15 minutes from Gunstock Ski Mtn), ice skating/pond hockey, ice fishing, and snowmobiling.

The 3rd Floor also includes a full bathroom with tub, wet bar, with small fridge and sink. There is a huge 120" HD Movie theater complete with amazing surround sound.

Other amenities include WiFi, Central Air, outside deck furniture, grill, 3 TV's.

** Renters supply your own bed linens, blankets, pillows, towels, and toiletries. No smoking in house or on deck. Family Friendly . Fireplace is not for renter use**

The property was beautful. Everything you would need for your trip. The view of the lake was spectacular. We went down to the beach , used the paddle boards, and the hot tub. Its definitely a 5 star rental. The hosts answered any questions I had when we were There.

The location by the marina was very good. It was nice having access to the pool and beach. The views from the house and back porch were beautiful. Be aware that you have to provide your own bed sheets, blankets and pillows. We were driving, so we could haul it for all of our family. I’m not sure what we would have done if we were flying in.

Only a weekend stay but we enjoyed the pool, restaurant and bar. Walking distance to Weirs. House had plenty of space for our family of 8 adults and the projection tv was an added bonus for the Celtics playoff game!

Great location, comfortable home. Movie room was impressive. Owner was quick to respond to a small issue with gas grill. However, the place was far from immaculate. Sink faucets sprayed a bit, disposal did not work, kitchen sink drained very slowly and this was the first time I had seen a rental like this that did not have an info booklet re check out procedures, trash pick up and recommended area attractions etc.

The house and location were amazing! Kurt was so helpful throughout. The house is minutes walking distance to Weirs beach bars and the direct oceanfront living was great for the 4th of July holiday weekend! We loved time by the pool, the guys enjoyed cornhole, and we loved the staff at the poolside tiki bar! Only inconvenience was the need to bring your own sheets blankets pillows—made packing a bit more strenuous. Would still come back, despite! Thanks again, Kurt & Sarah!

Girls’ Weekend

Such a wonderful stay for a girls’ weekend! The property was more than we expected. Beautiful views and a prime location to restaurants and shops. We had a such a great time. It was so homey and cozy. The porch looks out to Lake Winni and we watched the sunset and rise. The hosts were great and so easy to communicate with. Would 100% recommend!! Awesome Setup for the Family

My wife and I rented this place for a week in July with our 4 and 6 year olds and it did not disappoint. We had plenty of room even when we had the grand parents up for a couple of nights. The location is ideal with beach access, the pool/hot tub, and the surprisingly good bar/restaurant all within a few steps. Not to mention all of the other great Winnipesaukee activities within a very short drive. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are traveling with little ones.

Excellent stay!

We just got home from a wonderful stay at Akwa Marina. The townhouse was very clean and well equipped with beautiful views of the lake and a short walk to the yacht club. We took advantage of the pool, hot tub, guest dock, restaurant and bar. It was a fun, family friendly atmosphere. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Also, our kids were able to walk to Weirs beach to play at the arcades and explore the shops. We will be back.

Lots of Lakeside Fun

Our family of 6 adults and 2 kids had a great week at the Red House. The property had lots of room, and the kids playroom off the kitchen was a hit. The view was spectacular, and the Akwa Marina amenities were great. The pool, bounce house, corn hole, and poolside staff were awesome. Walking distance to Weird was a definite plus. Would definitely love to stay again. The owners were responsive and couldn't be any nicer.

We stayed for three nights and the home is in a beautiful spot close to the water and weirs beach within walking distance. We knew in advance we would have to bring pillows sheets towels blankets but it would have been much easier if that wasn’t a thing! :)

My family of 7, four adults and three kids, had a great stay at this property. Views from the deck and from most rooms were stunning. I looked forward to having my coffee out there every morning. The amenities at the marina really made this a unique stay. The kids had a blast in the pool and at the beach and having a restaurant and bar right there really made our stay feel like a vacation. We walked down to the arcade twice and also up to the Kellerhaus for ice cream. Very centrally located with amazing views. Property itself was as described and photos are accurate. There are some definite signs of rental wear and tear and the property could benefit from a deeper cleaning than what the weekly cleaning company is doing but that didn’t detract from our stay. Kurt was incredibly responsive to every question. Overall we would recommend. Bonus points for the little kids play room as well. My little ones loved that too.

Thanks for checking out our home. We are natives of NH and both UNH graduates. Originally from the Bedford/Manchester area we moved to Lake Winnipesaukee for a few years and its one of our favorites places to be.

Why they chose this property

We built this home in 2014 to be our primary residence so every detail is top notch, we think you will love the property as much as we do! Location is fabulous, just steps away from the resort & a few minute drive to the lovely town of Meredith.

What makes this property unique

A couple unique benefits of the home is the huge wrap around deck and 120" theatre on the 3rd floor. After a fun day in the sun/pool/lake, we love coming back to the house to BBQ and enjoying a glass of wine on the deck and a movie on the 3rd floor.
