No AC or working Internet can make it less workable in the summer.
There are lots of shops/restaurants conveniently located. There is plenty of space inside as well. You can see the mountains right from the front porch. A prior review mentioned there were limited plates, but this had been fixed.
Unfortunately, I would not stay there again in the summer. When we checked in in late August, the house was very hot inside. It had been shut up and with the windows closed. It smelled a bit “close” and was very uncomfortable. We opened all of the windows, and in the kitchen where there is a ceiling fan, it cooled off nicely. None of the bedrooms had ceiling fans, so they did not get cool. We bought a box fan, and it helped some, but it never really got comfortable. In Colorado Springs it does often cool off in the evenings outside. The house just didn’t.
A prior reviewer mentioned a Roku, so we assumed the house had Wi-Fi, and our check in email told us that there was Wi-Fi as well. The Wi-Fi never did work. The host tried to troubleshoot, to no avail. The described amenities, though do not list Wi-Fi. So, if internet is important to you, please double check.
Some other quirks. The parking area is seemingly artificial turf. The house also seemed to contain a business in a locked off area, and we did hear some folks outside early in the morning. It sounded like they were possibly picking up supplies. In the winter, if you had the windows closed, you might not hear it, but in the summer, with the windows open we did.
