Great place for an extended stay

Small and quaint, but safe neighborhood and cozy. Backyard was great for our dogs and allowed for an enjoyable stay. Would stay there again, especially if looking for a high-quality cost effective place.

Perfect for a weekend in Colorado Springs

House was very clean with nice appliances (smart tv, washer/dryer, etc.). Perfect for a family J or small group for a cozy getaway.

Great location quiet street

The property location is highly desirable with easy access to food, parks, and the hospital. There is plenty of outdoor space for pet recreation and relief. The house is on a quiet one way street with little traffic. The host was very responsive when the front door had a glitch and would not open.

Great location!

Carpet hadn’t been fully vacuumed in what looked like a long time. Largest bedroom had a poor design with limited space between bed frame and air conditioner/purifier (big bruises to show for it). Temperature control was difficult. Sectional sofa pictured in listing was swapped out for a traditional size sofa. There was a light out in the bathroom and the shower was dark.

This is a corporate property managed by Renjoy and maybe that explains our experience. The process of collecting data is really tedious and I felt “nickel and dime-ed.” In a previous Colorado Springs VRBO rental the host went out of their way to accommodate us including letting us check-in early. In contrast, at this location it was an extra fee.As to the house, the two large bedrooms and one bath are in the basement. The main floor bath is accessed via the upstairs bedroom, and there is no door between bedroom and bath. The LR and DR furniture is worn, low quality and minimal. As to the prep, management did ask for feedback so we provided the following to them. The back yard and the coffee maker hadn’t been cleaned (we supplied pics to management at their request and they did offer to come address these). They said they would put out “poop bags” for our dogs but did not. No big deal but I didn’t like that they said it was not their practice to do so. It felt the like we were talking to a variety of management people. I’ve rented from VRBO somewhat regularly and this is my first negative review. Of course, I could have researched better —that’s on me.
