I lived in beautiful Rockland County, NY most of my life, and now call Virginia home—but my heart is still very much in the Catskills. I cohost the cottage with my son, Michael, who is the creative spirit behind Jameson Cottage. Why they chose this property
My son Michael first heard about Livingston Manor in 2017, just as the town was beginning its exciting revival. We spent just one day exploring the area and looking at homes—and it didn’t take long for us to know this was the place. We instantly felt a connection and knew we had found something special.
Our 1952 cottage was loved by it's previous owner but it needed a major update. Reviving Jameson Cottage was an incredibly fun and rewarding journey. Watching it transform from its original state into the warm, welcoming retreat it is today was nothing short of dramatic—and we loved every step of the process. Our home is now a great place to relax and cozy up on the couch, the front porch, or the backyard.
