It has been said there are moments in life we live for … a week of sun, fun, and good friends. So why not make those times more memorable by securing a beachfront rental on the extraordinary Gulf of Mexico? Wave Catcher is located on desirable 30A, within the Dune Allen area, part of Santa Rosa Beach. It’s known for its idyllic surroundings and uncrowded beaches.

This house provides an extraordinary bird’s eye view from east to west of truly remarkable sunrises and sunsets. The designer of this home on stilts took full advantage of the view by installing floor-to-ceiling windows in the common area. In addition, an oversized window in the full-sized kitchen provides a breathtaking view of the rolling surf. There have been recent updates made to this home including new paint, new decking, and new furniture in the bedrooms and living area.

As you enter the main area, just inside the French doors, there is adequate seating for 12 to dine. The deck also offers plentiful seating for everyone to secure their favorite spot in the sun or to enjoy stargazing in the evening.

All four bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and smart TVs. The front-facing bedrooms have amazing Gulf views, while the back bedrooms overlook Oyster Lake, a very rare dune pond natural habitat. And, knowing how beach towels and bathing suits mount up, a separate laundry room with an ample cabinet, makes this chore a little more tolerable.

This venue comfortably sleeps ten.

Nestled on Scenic Highway 30a is the charming community Dune Allen Beach. A longstanding local spot for eclectic shops, eateries and homes, this part of 30A is often sought after for a laid back beach lifestyle. Its restaurants and stores are locally owned and at the heart of the community’s vibe. The 30A bike path will offer a safe, dedicated option to check it all out! Within a short loop you can grab coffee at nearby Gulf Place or stop by the bakery by heading back east to Blue Mountain Beach. Enjoy days on the beach and biking through Blue Lupine, the area’s native blue flowering plant. When you’re ready for more adventure, seek out the numerous biking and hiking trails that twist and turn through the surrounding Point Washington State Forest. Amenities such as golf, tennis, biking, boating, water sports & more are available locally at additional costs.
