Terrible Host
At 1:00pm the day of check in, I did not have check in info. I messaged her , she called and said I would get it when the property was finished being cleaned. Then I got a message from her saying I did not pay to have the pool heated and it had not been turned on. I sent her messages from VRBO and a copy of my payment of $560.00The pool was cold because it had not been turned on. On Sunday morning we went to the beach. Came back around 4:00 and the pool was cold. I call the local number and was told they could not get anyone to the house that day. The next day she messaged me that I had unapproved pets on the property and and need to remove them. I guess she saw the with the cameras she doesn’t mention on the listing. I again sent her our messages and my copy of my receipt for 200.00. I told her to do better and review the agreement before bothering me again on my vacation. That afternoon the local lady came by and turned the heater on. She said it got 60 degrees on Saturday night and something went wrong??? I ask for a refund of $560.00 for the pool not being heated. The cameras cover the driveway entrance and I understand that, but was not comfortable with the ones covering the fire pit , pool area, and back of the house that is glass!! She blamed VRBO for all the issues and kept complaining about the cost to heat the pool. In the listing it says heated pool, but does not mention an additional charge. She reached out to me later about the $560 did not want me to use VRBO???
